The chicken Vietnamese sandwich (also called Banh Mi) had a curry flavour inside, and the combination with cucumber and carrots was quite nice. It would have been even better with a crispy baguette, which the manager said is an option. Many selections of good food such as rice salad bowl, vietnam delicacies, sandos, and even breafkfast toast. I like the hot chocolate and the sandos especially ebi sandos, so yum... the eggs benedict also delicious. The services are fast and friendly. #newzealandtrip #couplestrip #Vietnamesefood

Love the fact that the cafe is connected to a beautiful home design store. The pesto and gooey cheese was just simply delicious. Subtle flavour and yet punchy. The fruit toast had a balance of sweetness and the candied pecan. The atmosphere was really nice. There was some crowding but all in all not overloaded. We are both vegetarian and were really happy to find some vegetarian options. Even though I would have wished for a little more variety. But if you are no vegetarian, you will love the food they sell! The coffee was good and the food itself was delicious. #newzealandtrip #coffeelovers #couplestrip

#newzealandtrip Excellent food n beautiful presentation, enjoyed every single bite of the meal. This cozy restaurant is one of the best vegan place in town and has left the best impressions. We went for the breakfast n started off with espresso white and then ordered two mains mushroom halloumi & vegan omelette. The Cafe owner was very friendly and knowledgeable n gave us complimentry beetroot pie which was very well textured. It's now my goto place for BF/Brunch. Highly recommend!

Staff is really nice, ambience is on point - it's a place you could come for brunch/ coffee on your own and stay to work on stuff or to come with loved ones and chat forever over a delicious meal! Whatever you choose, make sure you get the eggs benny with bacon it's PHENOMENAL at first I thought "it's a bit expensive" but then I realized it's served with a whole pack of bacon AND it comes with a hash brown. Honestly it was perfect, 10/10 would recommend I will most definitely be coming back for more some time soon!

#newzealandtrip It is always nice and tasty to go back to this place. The bagels are mouthwatering and the coffee is absolutely delicious. August 2022: They got a new ordering and payment system and scrapped the tangible menus. Not sure how I feel about it. On the hand, the new system is relatively intuitive. On the other hand, it's quite awkward to do that in a small space where you are the only customer and the waiter is looking at you.

#newzealandtrip Service was very friendly and helpful, especially as we had our bub. They got a high chair for us and were very kind interacting with our bub. Coffee was excellent. Can recommend the espresso. Food was tasty and came out promptly. Can recommend the french toast or Toulouse sausage if feeling savoury Bird paintings are really nice in the back and the heaters keep you toasty warm

We came across this place and the menu seemed to have some Vietnamese options. Pho is one of my favourite things to eat. And so ordered it, while my friend explored other options. Not only was the duck and bamboo pho cooked to perfection, the Hanoi spring rolls are so delicious, reminded me of the ones exactly like I had in Hanoi, my partner smashed back his eggs benny with smoked salmon with rosti and our coffees were perfection. It was the reason why we frequented this spot for meals thereafter. #newzealandtrip #couplestrip #pho

#newzealandtrip What a spot! A true hidden gem of Auckland city. Best bacon and eggs l've ever had - those chilli butter fried eggs hopefully are a permanent fixture on their menu. My partner had the hotcakes stack which he confirmed were delightfully fluffy and loads of maple syrup provided. Also excellent eighthirty coffee. This combined with the beauty of St Kevin's Arcade and views over Myers Park. Plus they are dog friendly so our little spoodle pup could hang with us at our table. Super friendly and fast service too. Highly recommend Bestie Cafe.
