The hotel environment is good, on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Mediterranean Sea from the window. The room is clean and tidy, and the area is relatively small. The windows are not soundproof, and the traffic is very heavy, which is a bit noisy. I basically ate in the hotel restaurant, because it is basically impossible to cross the road to the opposite restaurant. The cars are fast and dense, and you can't get through even if you are strong. The hotel has valet parking service, which is quite friendly.
The hotel is beautiful, boasts a fantastic location, and offers a wide range of facilities. They genuinely prioritize guest satisfaction. It truly lives up to its 5-star rating with utmost professionalism. During my visit, it was exceptionally crowded, especially with Egyptian holidaymakers. Despite this, the service remained unaffected, which was impressive.
I had a great experience staying at this hotel! First of all, the hotel is in a very good location, with a peaceful and beautiful environment and convenient travel. The reception staff at the front desk were warm and friendly, and the check-in process was quick and efficient, which made me feel very welcome.
The room was spacious and bright, well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable, which ensured that I could enjoy a good sleep every night. I especially liked the view from the room, which was really refreshing.
The hotel's catering service was also excellent, with a rich variety of breakfasts and unique flavors, and every meal made me linger. I especially recommend their buffet, which is fresh and delicious and definitely worth a try.
In addition, the hotel's gym and swimming pool facilities are also very complete, allowing me to keep exercising while traveling. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay and I sincerely recommend it to everyone! I will definitely visit this hotel again.
I have extreme dissatisfaction and concern regarding a series of deeply unprofessional actions and significant mismanagement by the front desk manager, Bassant, during my recent stay at Paradise Inn from 27 June 2025 to 28 June 2025. My group consisted of four friends (A, B, C, and D) across three booked rooms.
The core issues are as follows:
1. Misleading Information Regarding Sea-View Room Availability: Upon our check-in, my friend (A) and I (B) requested to upgrade our twin-bedded, city-view room to a sea-view room, offering to pay any price difference. We were explicitly informed by the Front Desk Manager, Bassant, that all sea-view rooms were fully booked and an upgrade was impossible. However, to our astonishment, our friend D, who arrived later, successfully booked and checked into a sea-view, queen-bedded room through Trip.com on the very same day we were told no such rooms were available. This direct contradiction is highly concerning and suggests a deliberate misrepresentation of facts.
2. Chaotic and Incorrect Room Assignment: Despite our original booking being for a city-view room (my booking) and D's new booking being for a sea-view room, the staff incorrectly assigned my room (A & B) to a sea-view, twin-bedded room, while D, who had booked a sea-view room, was assigned a city-view, queen-bedded room. This was a clear and significant operational error, leading to unnecessary confusion and inconvenience.
3. Unacceptable Behavior and Blame-Shifting by Manager Bassant: When we brought these room assignment discrepancies to the attention of Front Desk Manager Bassant, instead of acknowledging the hotel's mistake or apologizing, she shockingly stated that ”the guest on this order (A & B) took the new order's (D's) sea-view room.” This attempt to blame guests, coupled with a complete refusal to admit fault and offer an apology, is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. Her behavior was dismissive, dishonest, and actively attempted to create conflict among guests.
4. Ineffective Complaint Handling - ”Complaint Unreachable”: Subsequent to the issues, I attempted to escalate my concerns to hotel staff. However, the complaint process effectively ended at Front Desk Manager Bassant's level, with her ultimate feedback being that ”the guest is not telling the truth.” This indicates a severe flaw in their internal complaint resolution mechanism, where the very individual responsible for the issues is also the sole arbiter of the complaint, leading to an obvious lack of impartiality and accountability.
5. The entire experience – from the initial misleading information about room availability, to the erroneous room allocation, and the subsequent appalling communication and complaint handling – profoundly reflects deficiencies in their front desk operations' professionalism and integrity. Front Desk Manager Bassant's conduct was not only unhelpful and dismissive but demonstrably dishonest and divisive.
I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Alexandria for two days and my experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's magnificent decor, inspired by the 1800s. Every detail, from the furniture to the lighting fixtures, evoked a classic elegance that transported me to another era.
The hotel has direct access to a shopping center, which is extremely convenient for shopping without leaving the comfort of the establishment. In addition, the interior of the hotel is decorated with numerous paintings, adding to the artistic and refined atmosphere of the place.
But what really made my stay exceptional was the staff. Each member of the team was smiling, very welcoming and always ready to help. Their attention to detail and desire to make your stay as pleasant as possible is truly remarkable.
I highly recommend the Four Seasons Alexandria to anyone looking for a luxury hotel experience with a historic twist. It is a place where beauty, comfort and hospitality meet harmoniously.
It is heritage hotel with history dated back almost 100 years, and stayed by famous people in the past such as Winston Churchill and Elvis Presley. Located centrally and easily accessible to most of the key attractions in Alexandria. Highly recommended place to stay.
The hotel is OK, close to the beach, but the facilities look a bit old, but overall it is good. There is a KFC fast food restaurant outside, so it is convenient to eat. You can consider

The hotel is just super, what a stunning view from the hotel from the 16th floor, of the city and the sea, we were delighted. The studio is very spacious, everything you need is there, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a wonderful soft one. The hotel is very conveniently located not far from the train station, if you go from Cairo by bus, then from the bus station there are minibuses for 7 pounds to the train station, and from there it is 5-7 minutes walk to the hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Nnabiki2Beautiful old hotel on the water. I had a great sea view. The breakfast is fine but the roof top location of the restaurant and bar is great! The rooms are maybe a bit smaller than other places, but plenty for two of us and it is quite old and historic so one must understand. It’s got old decor, style, and elevator, but the bathroom, TV, and other amenities are modern and working well. I found the bed, pillows and linens to be clean and comfortable. Location is convenient- near shops, street food, other hotels with their bars and restaurants. Right between the library and the fort. You can see both from the rooftop restaurant or room balcony. About a 20 minute to walk to the library, 30-45 to the fort.
AAmrAmazing
Great location, food,service
I really had a good time to be relaxed
Management is really lucky to have 2 best girls, Sharouk and Diana they been doing everything to help me and others ,you always see them in the lobby, restaurants during breakfast and dinner, and making sure everyone is getting what needs. I am willing to spend my next visit in January there and am willing to recommend Rixos to all my friends and customers in New York
Thanks
Keep going
EEssamKhalilThe hotel has great potential and a wonderful location, which could make it an excellent option for travelers visiting Alexandria. It offers good value for money in theory, but unfortunately, the current management does not fully reflect this potential.
Some aspects of service need significant improvement — starting from the reception and housekeeping to the kitchen and café plus an operating free wifi. The staff seem to be doing their best, but they clearly need stronger professional guidance and management oversight to meet the standards expected from a hotel in such a prime location.
During my stay, parts of the hotel were under renovation, and the construction work caused some disturbance throughout the day. While it’s understandable that improvements require time, better scheduling or communication with guests would have made the experience more comfortable.
Overall, the hotel could become a top choice in Alexandria with proper management and attention to guest comfort. I truly hope the owners invest in professional leadership to make the most of this great property.
GGuest UserLike it's name, it's truly a paradise in Alexandria away from all the traffic and busy street! The ocean front beach breakfast buffet was so so wonderful, loved it very much. The swimming pool is also beautiful and practical and it was cleaned daily. The front desk stuff was professional, friendly, and helpful, as well as all the other stuff working there. Had a wonderful time there and definitely recommend it!
GGuest UserThe rooms could use an update, but the room is consistent with the reasonable price. Staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet had a good variety with protein options, which I liked.
GGuest UserIt was so far my best experience with hotels in Alexandria. Room was spacious, I had a bathtub and shaver. Stuff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Hhesham1985I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The first thing I noticed was how new and incredibly clean everything is.The entire hotel is spotless, from the lobby to the room, which made for a very comfortable and relaxing experience. What truly made my stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.Their positive attitude really makes this place stand out.I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
AABDALLAHOne of the best venues in Alexandria, Borg El Arab. A very nice ambience everywhere, the service is fantastic and the staff are very welcoming. The best thing is the breakfast, which is really delicious, fresh and more than perfect. For me, as a frequent travellers with 1K+ hotel nights all over the world, i am considering this buffet breakfast as one of my top 10 favorites.
