Our stay at Roomzzz was excellent! Very modern rooms and very clean. As someone who needs to eat a lot, and frequently, the kitchenette was a great addition. Check in and out was quick and simple. Hot drinks and pastries in a morning is a lovely little bonus. Excellent location, just a 5-10 minute walk from the centre. Parking was secure and good price at £10 per night in comparison to other local parking facilities, and they let us park for extra time on check out day so we could go grab some breakfast. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. We had some noisy neighbours wake us up at 1am and the staff handled it very promptly.
The cons were minor things, there was no instructions for the aircon or induction hob so we couldn’t figure out how to work them. Maybe a little manual for them would be helpful. Also, the shower went cold quite a few times (only for a few seconds at at time) but I’m assuming this is due to high water use. It wasn’t a big issue and given how beautiful the bathroom was, I didn’t really mind! Last thing, our room looked immediately onto the entrance to a university building, so we couldn’t really get changed with the curtains open, but honestly if I’d have asked to change rooms, I can imagine the staff would’ve done their best to accommodate this.
All in all, excellent stay and we will definitely be returning!😊

Very clean & tidy. Basically serviced accommodation. Decent size room with standard double bed and modern bathroom. Shower cubicle was a bit on the small size but quite adequate and shower had decent power. Kitchen useful. Easy self access with plenty of parking. Recommended for one or two nights stay over. We will use again.
Very accommodating for my cocker spaniel dog travelling with me - mobile garden home situated in the garden so very handy. Excellent cooked breakfast and very well equipped facilities in the garden room - microwave, freezer and fridge, Netflix large screen etc.
Since we arrived in Nottingham quite early, we called the staff to see if we could check in early. The staff was very accommodating and arranged a room for us to rest. The room was spacious, with a view of the campus outside, and the mattress was extremely comfortable. There was also free parking. Overall, we were very satisfied.

I emailed the hotel direct a week before arrival asking for a quiet room away from the lifts. On check in we found our room opposite the lift. Spoke to reception who said they hadn’t received the email but swiftly changed our room which was much appreciated.
The room was clean and comfortable. Obviously the hotel is very old so the floorboards were on a slant and creaked which meant you could hear the people above moving around.
Location is central to everything you would need.
We were staying to go to an event at the arena and it was a perfect choice for us.
It's the first time to stay, there are enough parking spaces in the parking lot. The room has sufficient space, and the bathroom is quite large, equipped with a hand shower and a rainforest shower, and covered with non-slip materials, which is very suitable for elderly travelers on the whole. The breakfast is also slightly richer than the nearby Marriott. In addition to the traditional English breakfast, there are also a variety of fruits, such as watermelon, honeydew melon, bananas, etc.

Great
OohdealEverything is perfect in this hotel. We love it so much, a highlight of our short trip to Nottingham.
We were welcomed by the loveliest front desk member, Lucia, and she helped us set up everything for the room. She also informed us about the ECO scheme of the hotel which we got £10 coupon of this hotel.
The hotel is *extremely quiet!!*, have *water complimentary* , have *apples complimentary*.
Just a word regarding the aircon, it will automatically turn to heat mode if the room is too cold. Other than that, everything is awesome.
CChie HongWhile the hotel is a bit old, it still provides a fairly comfortable stay. The rooms, though somewhat dated and small, are clean and functional, offering the basic amenities needed for a decent experience. One of the highlights of this hotel is the excellent service from the front desk staff, who are helpful and attentive, ensuring that guests feel welcome. The location is also a major advantage, providing convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Additionally, there is a casino close to the hotel, which may be appealing to guests looking for entertainment options during their stay. Overall, while the hotel could benefit from some modernization, its location and service make it a reasonable choice.
TTraveling ThespianThey waited for us until very late to check in and the staff were very nice. We found a pile of rubbish bish next to the bed and our room wasn't cleaned once. The location is great and it is nice enough for the price we paid.

Rrbot600Was quick to check-in and all staff were friendly and helpful. The free on-site WiFi was better than expected. The on-site bar, restaurant, shop and breakfast were all very nice additions to my stay. Would highly recommend 👌🏻
WWeTravels LimitedWe were welcomed with a treat being our wedding anniversary. The facilities in the hotel are good and there is on site parking for just £5 a day. The breakfast menu is great and offers anything you would like to have at breakfast. A gym is available and a bar too. The staff are friendly and prompt. I Highly recommend.
BBenjamin ArthurA lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.
GGuest UserGood location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs.
Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good.
Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice.
Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans
Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived
Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again
Price was good value for money!
