Comfortable Stay but Disappointed by Lost Property Experience
I stayed at the Hilton London Gatwick Airport for its unbeatable location and convenience, and in terms of comfort, it didn’t disappoint. The check-in process was quick, the room was clean and well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s rest before an early flight. The hotel is perfectly connected to the South Terminal, which makes travel stress-free.
However, my overall experience was overshadowed by a disappointing incident. I lost my rings during my stay and, despite reporting it promptly, I have yet to receive any update or resolution from the hotel. Communication has been lacking, and it’s disheartening to feel this matter hasn’t been handled with the urgency or care one would expect from a Hilton property.
While the hotel offers convenience and comfort, my trust has been shaken by the lack of follow-up on a matter so important to me. I truly hope the management addresses this issue promptly, both for my sake and to ensure other guests don’t face the same experience.
Overall, it was quite decent. The location is convenient, being close to Gatwick Airport with numerous direct bus services. A unique point to note is that you need to tap your card both when boarding and alighting the bus, which is quite uncommon in the UK. The room was on the smaller side, but this was as anticipated. However, it was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was decent. It's ideal for those needing to stay near the airport before an early flight. The English breakfast was fairly standard.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. The service was impeccable. The restaurant’s food was good as well. It’s only a few minutes away for Gatwick airport by car and local bus. Highly recommend.
Was impressed with the look, cleanliness, and staff at Raddison Red. Loved the free WiFi always a bonus. A good menu food wise even though I didn’t partake in any food this time round.
My only problem was that my shower tap squirted out from all angles! Shower was still good but may have been better. Funky phones in the room and adequate info throughout

The room was clean, tidy and perfectly located. I had a very good night’s sleep on the incredibly comfortable bed. I found it a bit tricky with the shower not having a door or curtain which made the whole bathroom wet when it was used. Other than that, staff were friendly and check in/check out was extremely efficient.
Most guests staying here are likely catching a flight. I had an early morning international flight the next day, so I looked for a hotel near the terminal. I originally intended to book the Sofitel next door; the prices were comparable at first, but I forgot to finalize the booking. When I re-checked, the Sofitel's price had jumped to 1800, while this hotel was 1490, so I promptly booked this one.
The Sofitel, in contrast, offers a direct skywalk from the terminal. For Premier Inn, you need to exit the terminal and walk across the road. Once inside the building on the other side, there was staff to guide guests. The lobby is located on Level 0. Check-in is fully automated; you just enter your booking number at a machine and it issues your room key.
The hotel's interior is comparable to a mid-range budget hotel in China. Many room types feature a double bed along with a sofa, which can be converted into an extra bed, essentially turning it into a twin or family room. The room size isn't particularly generous; you'll need to move things around to fully open a suitcase. Hot water was ample. The bathroom features a bathtub with a shower screen.
The hotel does not provide amenities like slippers, toothbrushes, or toothpaste, but tea bags and an electric kettle are available. There's a COSTA coffee shop on Level 0 where you can grab a bite and a coffee. While not spotlessly clean, the hygiene was acceptable.
Nice hotel with good large room with all facilities, staff all friendly and helpful, splendid breakfast but dinner menu a little uninspired. Spa area looked good but did not use.
This is a lovely hotel! The staff are very friendly and considerate - when I was there I was a solo traveller and they had a wedding on, as I wasn't part of the wedding party they made sure I had a room away from the festivities. The room had a fantastic view and there was no noise from the wedding. There weren't many power sockets but you rarely have everything you want in life! Great stay, I'll definitely return one day.
With a stay at The Jolly Drover in Liss, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of South Downs National Park and Sheet Common. This inn is 15.4 mi (24.8 km) from Goodwood Racecourse and 1.1 mi (1.7 km) from Liss Centenary Garden.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access.
At The Jolly Drover, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. Quench your thirst with your favorite drink at the bar/lounge. A complimentary full breakfast is served on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and on weekends from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 6 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include electric kettles and free tea bags/instant coffee, and housekeeping is provided daily.

GGuest UserI was dreading staying at the Europa Hotel Gatwick, given its budget status, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The hotel looks much better in person than it does in the pictures online, which was a nice surprise. As for the sleep, you really do get what you pay for — it wasn't the most luxurious, but for a budget option, it was decent enough. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple,

AAoffy & AndyI stayed here for 2 nights. Overall, the hotel was okay.
The room was clean but felt a bit old. It was also quite noisy, as I could hear sounds from other guests, which made it hard to fully relax. On the bright side, the breakfast was great—good variety and quality—and the receptionist was friendly and helpful.
There was a small issue with my booking. The restaurant staff told me that my room didn’t include breakfast, even though I was certain it did. I had to go back and speak with the reception to sort it out, which was a bit inconvenient.
Despite that, the stay was generally fine. A few improvements in soundproofing and communication between staff would have made the experience better
FFlytotheLunaService was good with friendly staff. Room was very old, floor was unevenness, although was clean with nice seaview.
Seagulls doesn't allow to sleep if you stay on the top floor room
HHeidi ButterfillA really lovely hotel and country club which is tucked away in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex. The driveway is a wonderful welcome with all the purple rhododendrons in bloom. The decor of the entire hotel was contemporary mixed with tradition - loved it.
We had amazing service which made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a family room within the hotel with an amazing view of the golf course (9th tee) - it was perfect; beautiful interior, comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels, great balcony, tea/coffee and biscuits and lovely toiletries. It had a lovely country cosy feel to the room and the entirety of the hotel.
The service in the restaurant was brilliant and super friendly and the breakfast was superb - the perfect amount of choices. The view from restaurant was brilliant, the first tee!
We used the health club in particular the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The changing rooms and showers were clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful as was the family cat 😊. The only slight down side was the swimming pool closed at 5:30pm for children.
The golf pros in the golf shop were super friendly and made us feel welcome.
We were pleasantly surprised how lovely this hotel was after booking very last minute, it was very reasonable and we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
Highly recommended, thank you very much.
HHH WangThe hotel service is very good. It is very close to the airport. If you need any assistance, you can get it quickly. There is a fixed shuttle bus which costs about 4 pounds per person. Although there are sidewalks, it is still a little dangerous to walk there. The overall accommodation experience Very good, there is a fast food restaurant next to it!

GGuest UserI'd seen some online reviews criticizing the hotel's facilities, but upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, the hot water was good, and tissues were provided. Do note that toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so remember to bring your own. The bed was a bit on the small side, but there was a bathtub, which was an unexpected bonus.
The hotel is conveniently located near the North Terminal. However, if you're coming from the South Terminal, it's quite a walk, which isn't ideal on a rainy day or if you have heavy luggage. You'll also need to cross a road without traffic lights, relying solely on drivers to yield.
Despite being near the airport, the room was surprisingly quiet; I couldn't hear any outside noise. That said, as with many airport hotels, the value for money isn't outstanding. The main advantage here is the ability to walk to the terminal. The shuttle bus, which you have to pay for, takes a longer, roundabout route.
