Huge hotel with great facilities, but gym, sauna, onsen and pool have to be paid extra and at high prices. That left a very bitter aftertaste. The room was large but a bit dated and could be cleaned better.
The service at the reception could be nicer and speak better English. However, the rest of the service staff were extremely nice and helpful. Early check-in was possible free of charge.
The hotel is very close to Kobe airport, but only offers a shuttle service for the train stations. Why not also for the airport is somewhat questionable.
This is a wonderful hotel to stay while in Kobe. It is just next to Kobe Harborland and Kobe Port Tower. The room we had comes with a private balcony offering a spectacular view of the harbour. The room is clean, comfortable and has full amenities. The hotel provides bus shuttle service to and from Sannomiya Station. There is also a Family Mart located at the lobby where you can buy snacks, drinks and other additional amenities. Hotel is also walking distance from a Starbucks which opens at 7:30am should you need to get your coffee and the famous BE KOBE sign. Highly recommended.
Very good Japanese-style hotel, newly renovated, the room bath is very new, the bed is very comfortable. Booked a one-night stay with two meals, dining in a separate small private room on the 1st floor, the room number is the same as the room number. When the JR station was approaching departure time, I found that I forgot to bring my backpack. After calling the hotel, the hotel immediately sent a car to deliver it, and we returned to Osaka on time. Special thanks~
I was really grateful that I was able to use the bath during the fitness gym's opening hours and relieve my fatigue. If I had to say one thing, it would be even better if there were room keys for each person. As for meals in the hotel, we missed the last order for dinner, so we reserved breakfast at a special price for guests and enjoyed the buffet, including Amagasaki champon, which is made with locally produced agricultural products. The room was spacious and quiet, the bed and pillows were perfect, and the city view was beautiful at night and the sea view in the morning. The view was also wonderful. The shower head and hair dryer were of high quality and we were very satisfied. We are members of the Miyako Plus app and check-out is at 11:00. This will be our regular place to stay from now on.

The hotel is right next to the Architectural wonders of Awaji and you can view them with the seaview as a background right from the balcony. The size of the room is also very comfortable. Would also like to recommend booking the breakfast buffet. We have tried two restaurants from the hotel and bought souvenirs from the shop and have nothing to complain about.
Very close to Kobe International Convention Center. Not very close to most tourist spots if you are typical tourist wanting to enjoy Kobe. Walking distance to IKEA

A very nice hotel. Our room was spacious enough for two people. The dinner was colorful and probably delicious, although it was difficult to appreciate due to our different taste preferences. The fish and steak were excellent. We only stayed at this place for one day, but it would take several days to fully experience and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of this place.
Very near to Himeji JR Station, just 7 minutes walk. Many malls & conveniences around the hotel building. But for me it's a little hard to find, as it's on the 7th floor of an older building & signage is not very obvious. Front desk staff are all nice & helpful, but most don't speak English & a little hard to communicate. Hence it took me a while to navigate & understand the pod area by myself and it was like a maze at first. Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you!
Love this quaint little ryokan at Kinosaki! The service is friendly although not much English is spoken there. Expect the staff to introduce you the amenities of the ryokan such as the free first-come -first-serve private onsen (there are a total of 4, but recommend the one named Hana because it's the newest and the nicest). The room itself is tiny but comfortable. There is no shower in the room, so would have to take the shower at the onsen or at the ryokan's own onsen. The room package came with kaiseki (we had the snow crab one) and it was delicious with pretty looking food. The blanket was thick and comfortable, perfect for the cold weather. There was not much view from our room.
It seems like a place where people from Kobe, Hyogo, and Osaka come to visit and stay to drink more after missing the last train.
The cleanliness is not bad enough for those who are not obsessive-compulsive.
There is a bathhouse and sauna on the second floor, so it is not bad.
The interesting thing is that there is a TV inside the capsule.

Amazing
GGuest UserReally a nice place for relaxing. Perfect service professional, helpful and friendly staff with a warm smile.
We stayed in Naruto Room which is really amazing. Kids are super excited for the free gifts and Naruto , Sasuke clothes.
Your can enjoy free drink, snacks and welcome fruit providing in the room.
Dinner and breakfast are included which is really high quality and delicious. Awaji beef is a MUST try.
If you like watching stars, GRAND CHARIOT is a wonderful for you.
The only disadvantage is the transportation. We went there by public transport. All information and instructions are unclear and we spent plenty of time to get there. Also, hotel is far away from the park entrance. You must contact the hotel at the information centre from park Exit F for the pick up when you arrived. Other than that, everything is perfect.
SSvetlanaVery enjoyed living in this river! Excellent location, high level of service, very delicious dinner and breakfast. We were delighted with the public onsens, onsen inside the river too very much liked - it is great that there is an opportunity to come in the morning and warm before leaving.
The special advantage for us was that in the river it is allowed to live for guests with tattoos.
Thank you very much for your hospitality! In our next trip we will definitely stop here again 🤗
TTrebasFantastic location near train station, malls, shops, cafe, restaurants and temple (5-10mins). We are appreciative of the range of toiletries made available (we particularly liked the hair bands, brush & wash loofah). We enjoyed night get together at the lounge with free drinks & ice cream (8-10pm) that provided a good resting point before our late night shopping at Don Quijote which was just across the road.
However, we did not like the self check in process. We initially booked 2 rooms for 5 persons (Deluxe Twin Room with extra Side Bed & a Standard Twin). But added another Comfortable Double room when a 6th person joined. Despite we explained that we now had 2 guests to a room, the hotel issued 3 cards to the 1st room & could only issue a card to the last room. Very rigid.
There is an ironing room for those who need to press their outfits. It is a tad inconvenient to lug our clothes and hangers & water for the steam iron to do the chore.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel esp for families.
AAnonymous UserGreat that the hotel has shuttle bus service from Sannoymiya station, and the service is fantastic. It was hassle free and easy to get to the hotel. Other services were great as well, however, the laundry service was less than great. There are not enough washing machines for the size of the hotel, and many guests are always queuing for the washing machine. Also, the bell captain is inconsistent with the way of managing the laundry queue. Sometimes, there is a waiting list for guests to register on, while other times, there is a need to wait in person for the key to be available.
YyvonnebbWhen I arrived at the hotel at night, the female staff greeted me politely. It was relatively quiet nearby. There was free parking. The room was large and the wash basin was outside. There was no bathtub in the bathroom. It was clean and tidy. The male staff were also polite in the morning. Good. I hope to come again.
Ssrn38We booked a Japanese-style room for our family of four (couple, two ages 5 and 4).
It was nice that they had loungewear for children.
There was a large public bath on the first basement floor, and both the indoor and outdoor baths were spacious with a great view.
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, including some made with ingredients from Awaji Island, which was very delicious.
Also, in the future, I think I'll request a room near the elevator when making a reservation.
*There were quite a lot of rooms, so our room was far from the elevator...
독독락당The Unizo Inn was one of the best locations I have stayed at in Japan. The room, relative to Japanese standards, is quite spacious and their degree of cleanliness is enough for even me, someone seldom fickle about cleanliness, to perceive. In addition, they also have a water dispenser situated just outside the elavator in the hallway leading to the room for anyone who might need some hydration. On the other side of the water dispenser was a VOD ticket machine for any guests interested in viewing the hotel's selection of movies. While I did not make use of this service, I am certain there are some travellers who would be most pleased to have something to entertain them even in their room. While I did not decide to have breakfast included with my room for the duration of my stay, the area in which the hotel is located makes it a prime location to acquire breakfast, whether that be a Matsuya right below the hotel or, my preference, Yoshinoya a little ways away. On the note of location, though, the hotel is well situated near Sannomiya station, giving ease of access to other regions of Kobe. That said, the wealth of restaurants and stores near the station alone could probably keep one interested in food occupied for a while. The staff were overall very friendly and the experience as a whole was most enjoyable. One point to note, however, was that like every other hotel I have been to in Japan, there is a stark absence of three-holed outlets so North Americans with three-pronged plugs should be aware of this and come prepared with an adapter of some sort.
AAnonymous UserQuite a nice hotel. Accessible to places via walking. The room is clean and comfortable.
Daily changing of towels and bath robes is provided (may not be that environmental friendly).
It will be good to provide a few hangers 😊
Otherwise, it's been a pleasant stay in the hotel.
JJ. HO for Travel ~I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Vischio Amagasaki, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel's modern and stylish design impressed me right away. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the property created a comfortable and chic ambiance. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The staff at Hotel Vischio Amagasaki were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They went above and beyond to cater to my needs and make my stay memorable. From helpful recommendations for local attractions to efficient check-in and check-out processes, their level of service was top-notch.
One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience at the hotel's restaurant. The food was exquisite, showcasing a fusion of local and international flavors. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different dietary preferences.
The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. Whether I wanted to explore the city or relax in the hotel's spa facilities, everything was within reach.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Vischio Amagasaki to anyone visiting the area. The combination of exceptional service, stylish accommodations, and delectable dining options made my stay truly memorable.
GGuest UserLocation is great to the Rokkosan ropeway! Services are fantastic!! The dinners are superb!!!
The hotel and facilities are bit old but it’s great for its price. The onsen shower area requires more frequent cleaning however as there was hygiene issues spotted.
