ANABUKI-TEI is a hotel that has been renovated from a vast mansion and is a rental hotel.
All facilities can be reserved for private use, including a two-story mansion, a Japanese garden illuminated at night, and a Finnish sauna and spa.
Your meal will be prepared right in front of your eyes by a popular local chef, and your living room will transform into a restaurant for just one group. For breakfast, you can choose from Japanese cuisine, and for dinner, you can choose from a full course of Japanese cuisine or Italian cuisine.
Enjoy your own rich time that can only be experienced in this region of Japan.
serivce and location are good. right next to main street. parking is a bit difficult to find but staffs are nice and had great recommendations to the udon store next door (best one ever). variety of onsen available and private bath as well. food is good (3/5). it would be a bit noisy as they arranged 2 sections of dinner so everyone has to wait outside before the section started. could improve the flow of dinning as i don't want to waste time lining up outside of the restaurant.
The location of the hotel is just perfect, 2 min drive from the ferry pier and 1 min walk to the JR terminal, with beautiful harbour views and city views as it is a high-rise building.
The choice of dining is awesome, serving Chinese, affordable Japanese teppanyaki, traditional Japanese cuisine and French cuisine.
The staff are well-trained and provide professional services.
If a public bath were available, it would be perfect.
Everything was very good, but there were two things I was not satisfied with. First, the dinner location I was given on the night of check-in was quite uncomfortable and the environment was noisy and crowded. Second, I was woken up by the smoke from the corridor in the morning.
In addition, it was not too close to Kotohira-gu Shrine, and most of the waiters were foreigners, so I could not experience the feeling of a Japanese hot spring.
Tokuto is a cut above the rest. If I ever stay in Teshima again, I’ll return here. Peaceful retreat, thoughtful touches, with a lot of attention to detail from the landscaping to the bathrooms. The host also makes the stay enjoyable with great hospitality. It felt like a family member was looking out for me, but also leaving me to make myself at home. A lot of care is taken and it shows and it is felt. A zen garden for a zen experience.
Hotels in Japan are all mini. The stay for us, two adults and one child, was okay. This hotel is in a good location, just across the street from the station. There is also free udon noodles in the evening.
This is my third time staying at this hotel, and this time I stayed for four nights.
The open-air bath was clean and very comfortable, and the sauna was also very good.
Our room was cleaned every day, and we were very satisfied with the careful work. I used the restaurant last time, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of items and everything was delicious, and the Japanese food was also very good.
It was a satisfying stay at a reasonable price.
I would like to stay again. Thank you.
Located in the center of Kagawa Prefecture It is a quiet rural town along the beautiful Seto Inland Sea It is a popular area where you can enjoy fishing boats motorcycle touring and bicycles It takes 25 minutes by car to Takamatsu city the center of the prefecture and 25 minutes to the ferry terminal for the Setouchi Triennale
Because it is a rural town there are no convenience stores or supermarkets so please purchase items on your way
Kinoko private parking lot
httpsmapsappgooglZRzghf8p8HDdm75RAg_stic
The parking lot can accommodate about 6 cars A camper up to 4 tons is also possible
The sightseeing spots in the prefecture are located in places that can be accessed within an hour
The owners private beach with a beautiful view of the Great Seto Bridge is also available for rent to guests
Please come and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Setouchi and the old houses
The steep hill leading up to My Naoshima Lodge felt quite unwelcoming at first, but to my pleasant surprise, beautiful cats came out to greet us!
Being an avid cat lover, that really was a great perk for me.
Anyway, the hotel, being relatively new, had very clean facilities and I really had nothing to complain about except for the relatively earlier checkout time (10AM! Seriously?😭) compared to other accomodations and inaccessibility to eating spots. Definitely recommend stopping by at the only 7Eleven in Naoshima on your way uphill.

GGuest UserVery nice stay, we stayed here for three days and two nights, the room is as good as the pictures, I especially like the open-air bath, the staff are very professional and polite. When we arrived at the hotel, there were staff waiting at the parking lot and helping with the luggage. During these three days, several boys took care of our meals, they were very professional and polite, thank them for their service. We were very pleased with the meal and felt the chef's dedication and the dining area was beautiful. I will recommend this place to other friends.
LLapOverall, I highly recommend this hotel. The room was spacious, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels I've stayed at in popular Japanese cities. The complimentary parking was convenient, with options both outside the hotel and in a nearby multi-floor facility. Simply obtain a ticket and insert it into the machine at the front desk to have the charges waived.
Additionally, its location just a 10-minute drive away from 粟林公園 was convenient for exploring the area.
SSpencerCPSIt's about a 10-minute drive from the city center and Angel Road. Although I arrived late, it was really beautiful to see the sunset near the place I arrived! Local ingredients are served for dinner, which is different from the hotel buffet dinners I have had in the past. I recommend you try it!
LLian Ching AudreyI like Dormy inn! I have been to 3 different Dormy inns and their standard have been consistent and excellent. Love their indoor and outdoor onsens, free flow of yakult in the morning, and free flow of ice cream in the afternoon and night, ramen for supper. Their breakfast is really delicious too!
GGuest UserThe hotel was in a great location. Close to shops and transport. JR station about 30 min walk but local train made it easy, being about 6 min walk to the hotel. You could easily miss the Entrance of the hotel if you blink. MacDonald is next to the hotel. When you find the Hotel sign access to the hotel reception is via a public elevator (get out on Floor 8). Parking outside the hotel is not possible so park your car in the multi-storey car park of the building (first left street after the hotel). Collect a ticket at the boom gate, park your car on any level and take the ticket to the Hotel Reception. The staff will return the ticket to you when you leave. Parking is 1100 yen per day and this fee is paid at the Hotel Reception desk. Easy as pie once you know. We had a great time in Takamatsu and the hotel and hotel
staff was fantastic.
GGuest UserIt's my first choice when I pass through Takamatsu because of the location being close to everything you need. Many restaurants and shopping around the area within minutes by walking. Absolute great staff ready to help and assist you at check in and they always give me a warm welcoming. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try!
AAngel Yi TakThe room design was weird. It may be good for young couples or young people to stay but definitely not enough space when travelling with young toddlers.
The beds were big but then too much space for used for the bathroom and toilet, leaving tiny space left for a table, sofa, etc.
Yet, location was great, just round the corners have plenty of restaurants for food.
KK.L.LThis hot spring hotel is situated very close to the Kotohira train station. Our booking included set dinner and breakfast buffet. Food is delicious and you get pretty full. Room is spacious and air-con is cool which is crucial during the hot summer. The hot spring is segregated between men and women; opens until midnight. There is a free shuttle bus available which takes you to and from the train station. I arrived at Kotohira around noon and that morning I had the hotel staff where I stayed in another town to call this onsen hotel to pick me up.
Very happy with my stay!
GGuest UserI am very satisfied. I was arranged on the top floor and was not disturbed by anyone. There are washing machines and induction cookers, which are fully equipped. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the subway. The hotel is surrounded by residential areas and is very quiet. The room is clean. If I have to say something unsatisfactory, it is that the sofa is too soft. Compared with other facilities in the room, the sofa looks a bit cheap. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a simple coffee shop at the entrance of the hotel. You can make an omelet for breakfast and the coffee is very fragrant.
