The front desk, breakfast area, and cleaning staff were all very kind and greeted me properly, so it was a very nice atmosphere. There were amenities at the entrance so I could take what I needed when I went up to the room. Everything I needed was there. The breakfast was better than I expected. I was grateful to be able to enjoy delicious Miyazaki local cuisine in the morning.

The front desk was very impolite on the day I checked in, kept asking me to stick the “do not disturb” sign on the door, even called to my room asking that at the moment I haven’t settled down yet! it’s good that not seeing them around afterwards. And the other front desk staff are nice and helpful. P.S I stayed in this hotel 3 days 2 nights

The hotel is 200 meters from Miyazaki JR Station, about a 3-minute walk. From the east exit of Miyazaki JR Station, walk 2-3 minutes and cross two streets to arrive. There is a convenience store downstairs of the hotel, super convenient! The hotel staff was friendly and check-in was quick and smooth. I stayed in the largest room type, a deluxe twin non-smoking room. It was very large, spacious and clean, and there was no problem with unpacking two 28-inch suitcases. The breakfast tastes great, simple but refined, with scrambled eggs, salads, meat, desserts, juices, coffee and everything else. You can also try the local specialties of Japan, and there are also delicious fresh anchovies and sea bream sashimi. I stayed for two nights. I recommend not to eat breakfast later than 09:00. The last order time is 09:30. It may be that there are not many guests and the food supply is not so frequent. There is a tourist center at Miyazaki Station where you can buy souvenirs and directly buy a Miyazaki one-day bus pass. You need to show your passport, so you don’t have to queue at the ticket counter. It’s 2000 yen per person, very convenient! The buses in Miyazaki are not frequent. When you purchase a one-day pass, the staff will ask you where you are going and inform you of the bus schedule and route, etc.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time. If it is not far away from the guests, I will continue to choose to stay. The morning is also good, and the room is big enough, which is still very good. It would be better if you can prepare a mirror for the girls.

The location of the hotel cannot be described as inconvenient. Since it is not a big city, it is acceptable. However, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, and it is also very convenient to walk to Qingdao Shrine. In terms of service, the staff are friendly and friendly, maintaining the high service quality that Japan has always had. Hygiene and convenience are slightly poor, and the furniture is relatively old, but it is understandable, after all, the hotel has a considerable history. Only the toilet seat has contaminants, which is not acceptable.

KKhal EshamThis hotel is definitely old and has a retro look to it. And that is not a bad thing, we like it. It’s like traveling to the past and experiencing life in the 80s or 90s. The room we’ve booked was Japanese style, sleeping on a futon and the hotel staff prepared it for us before bedtime when we came back from sightseeing. The room is also spacious. The location of the hotel is just in front of the beach and it’s perfect to enjoy a morning or evening stroll along it. Aoshima shrine is a few minutes walk away and there are many restaurants to choose from nearby. Staff service was good.

GGuest UserReception: On the day of check-in, the cold current was attacked, and the weather was particularly cold, but when I arrived at the hotel, I saw the host standing at the door to greet me, and even helped guide the parking with the cold wind. The whole was deeply moved. Breakfast & dinner: I don't know if this is the legendary ”Japanese Kaiseki” cuisine? As far as I am a foreigner, it must be! The glutinous rice is matched with seasonal/local handmade side dishes, non-staple food, etc., colorful and delicious feasts, Every dish feels the intention of the host's preparation, and the content is introduced one by one when serving, which is a very special feeling. Soaking: although the wooden bath is not big, but there is a kind of quaint beauty, the environment is clean and tidy, the only fly in the ointment is that the face paper, moisturizing products, etc. on the dressing table of the female soup have long been used, but not replenished in time, there are no other shortcomings; After soaking in the hot spring back to the room, I was surprised to find that the host carefully prepared red bean soup, not only warm the stomach but also warm the heart. Overall: If you go to Tianyanhu, it is recommended to stay here for one night. Not only the location is good, you can see the Tianyanhu Shrine when you open the window. You can also stroll to Tiananheyuan early in the morning to fully enjoy the special local scenery. In addition, the hotel's intimate service and delicious meals, It is definitely a different experience from Western restaurants.

MMeiDeeFriendly staff and clean lodging. We booked half board which was worthwhile as the food quality was great and especially when restaurants close early within the area, saved us looking for dinner. However, there are a few time slots we need to abide to, which is fine as attractions usually are closed by late afternoon anyway. There is onsen in this accommodation, but it's not big. Enclosed onsen with no external views, and the water has some medical component added thus making the water reddish which may deter guests not accustomed to the color. The Ryokan location is convenient for walking to a few attractions (for those who enjoy walking about 15-30mins to either attraction), which include Takachiho Kagura performance (pre-booking required), Takachiho Gorge, Takachiho Amaterasu Railway - scenic train ride. Do note the train rides cannot be pre-booked, and end by 3PM in the afternoon. And Takachiho Gorge Boat Rental should be pre-booked, with time slot bookings open 7 days before.

ヤンイーランIt's about 10 minutes away from the city. The location is not great, but the hospitality is excellent and the hotel thinks about the details of its guests. The lounge area from the large public bath and the free drinks there are great, so you can relax and take your time. I think it's worth staying an night just for this hotel. I wish they could extend the bath time a little more in the morning.

KKA CHEUNGMiyazaki Prince Smart Inn provides thoughtfully furnished rooms equipped with all the essentials. While the accommodations are well-maintained, the room size is a bit compact, and the parking instructions could be more user-friendly – areas where future enhancements would be welcome. The hotel benefits from a convenient location. Despite these minor points, the experience is worthwhile, offering accommodations with a sensibly designed interior. I look forward to seeing even better service in the future. For travelers who appreciate efficiency and practicality, Miyazaki Prince Smart Inn is a solid choice, offering a comfortable place to unwind. I hope to enjoy an even smoother stay next time.

しげしげ001I'm sure there are various ways of thinking about this, but I wonder what you think about not providing indoor shoes (slippers are charged separately) and not providing tissues in the room (it was difficult for me as I have hay fever). Although it's called a spa, the large communal bath is out of service due to last year's earthquake, so you have to go to an affiliated facility yourself (it's too far to walk to and there's an additional charge). There's only a shower in the room (poor hot water supply). What was good was the 1,100 yen breakfast, which was excellent.

AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff were very polite and I was very satisfied from the check-in. The hot spring was also great and the water was thick and creamy, so I'm glad I chose it. The women-only floor was also very convenient, and the hot spring was right in front of the room, so it was easy to use, just like at home. There were Refa and shower heads, and the shower head was Refa. For some reason, the hair dryer in the bathroom was different lol The room was also relaxing. The little things were well thought out, like the lights turning on without inserting a card and the door being able to be left slightly open. The only thing that was a shame was that when I checked out, the hallway was overflowing with cleaning supplies and blocked my way. It was the first time I'd stayed at a hotel where the cleaning staff didn't greet me when I checked out. I thought that was a shame. The rest of the hotel was perfect ✨ I was also grateful that breakfast was included, there was a wide selection of drinks, there was a parking lot right next to it, and I didn't have to check out. I'll stay here again if I have business in Miyazaki city!

GGuest UserGood location. Within easy walking distance to the beach. Boards can be rented. Unfortunately, a group of travelers did not respect the quiet rule in the sleeping area. It was quite loud for the duration of my stay. I would hope the hostel enforces the rules more strictly in the future.

GGenConveniently located within walking distance of Miyazaki Station, this hotel was an ideal base for sightseeing or business. It was also easily accessible by bus and train, allowing for smooth travel to tourist spots such as Aoshima and Miyazaki Shrine. There are many restaurants and convenience stores in the area, so you can enjoy local cuisine. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, making for a comfortable stay. Miyazaki specialties were served for breakfast, adding to the enjoyment of the trip. The location and service were well balanced, making this a hotel I would like to use again if I visit Miyazaki.
