Decent hotel except the room in Tower 1 which we stayed looked a tad ‘old and tired’. Have booked another visit next month requesting for room in Tower 2. Hopefully it would be a more pleasant surprise. Can’t beat the convenience to shopping and F&B here. Checking in/out was a breeze. I’m giving it a try again. Enjoyed my stay at KSL.

Very nice hotel in very good location . All facilities are available in or around. Staff are polite and good . Breakfast was the with good variety of food items. Will visit more to this place . Definitely will refer to the friends. For family perfect even for solo travellers also

It was the cheapest to book a deluxe room (with bathtub) in this hotel through trip.com...comparing with other hotel booking avenues. Very impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. You could find many eateries nearby and KSL mall is a short walk away. Had a very comfortable stay! Annie Ho

First time heading to mid valley area, thus decide to try out this hotel. After a challenging egate downtime day, I had finally arrived at hotel O PE RO. Pros: Soothing aroma smelly lobby reminds me to Big box hotel. Room was compact but comfortable to sleep well. Giant sogo view motivates my shopping time. Hotel staffs were generous to provide more water as my child was having a nasty sore throat. Thank you. Breakfast - Chicken rendang is towards the sweeter side but bursting with tasty coconut milk. I adored the proficient roti prata chef who won me over with his crispy prata. Cons: As an avid hotel guest swimmer, this is the first time I had to share a pool with a few intelligent crows who dripped their beak into the minimum chlolrine pool. How bizzare.. Safety come first when making your way to Mid valley shopping mall. Many vehicles which include coach buses making their way to the carpark.. Bring along an umbrella and put spf.

This is my second time visit to this hotel,my first time visit was a long time ago before covid,so many improvement in all aspect,such an enjoyable stays for us,keep it up

This hotel is a rite infont of bus stop, you can take bus number T20 from JB customs . Besides hotel rights hand side got a money changer, a mini market, behind you, walking around 10 minutes to reach KSL sopping mall, and many good hotels, if you like shopping, can stay here the other side of the hotel got one big fish head steam boat , a lot of customers. I don't like steam boats, so I never try it is nice or no nice . Opposite the fish head steam shop, got one big food centre, price is ok, one bottle of beer cost Rm 18, food is so so, environment is fine, counter staff is friendly, bill boy Auman is helpful and friendly. The room is large, and only the bathtub below is leaking ,so the floor can be wet, not a suitable seniors guest. I stay during weekdays, I think the price is a bit high. Otherwise, it should be OK. Out of 5, i will rate 4, alot of room to improve.

The location is excellent. Super convenient if you are planning to just shop, dine, play at Mid valley mall. Room is clean and the staffs are all very friendly. The only bad thing is the morning breakfast. It is crazy crowded and long queue. Food is average. Overall a great hotel to stay in JB

I had an amazing stay at Sunway Hotel Big Box! The service was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make my son's birthday special. They even set up the room with decorations and surprised us with a complimentary cake! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay truly unforgettable. Highly recommend Sunway Hotel Big Box for their excellent service and warm hospitality!

The staffs are excellent and location is great, just 100 meters from KSL city. Lots of eateries around and there is night market on every Monday evening. Only couple of things that can be better. One is the shower pressure and toilet flushing pressure. Then is the sound proofing problem, I had a connecting room and imagine I can clearly the snoring of next door guest, and the conversation from doorway and next door. Last is the table light, there’s no switch to switch it off but to unplug from the outlet? Or I don’t know the the switch is located at the table light 🤪 Overall great stay and love the breakfast spread, will come back but I’ll sure ask for non-connected room.

Repeat my stay but I'm disappointed this time. My room was not as clean as I expected—sticky floor and dusty walls. The water dispenser machine was not working and the lights were exceptionally dim which made the stay uncomfortable. The ventilator in the toilet was not working and I was told that it was due to the swimming pool renovation. The swimming pool was unavailable and the gym had machines which were outdated and dusty. The location was convenient, but unfortunately, that was the only positive point. It has a mini mart at the lobby. I also found the breakfast to be good with many varieties of food. Overall, I feel that Trove hotel does not live up to its rating and needs serious improvements in cleanliness and facilities. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes changes for future guests.
