Convenient location, just a short walk from the train station with a nearby convenience store. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there’s a small kitchen for cooking.
However, no indoor slippers, shower cap, or cotton buds provided. The area is quiet - not many restaurants around. Good option if you prefer a peaceful stay near the station.
Comfortable bed, spacious room and toilet and nice environment. Service was good and breakfast was great. The only issue was with the decorations in the room, I didn't feel comfortable looking at the big head on the wall during my 3 nights stay. Otherwise, this hotel was perfect.
Great hotel and right next to a tram stop for access in and out of the main city and canals
I was unable to find the gym/wellness suite with staff directing me to different places (I didn’t look particularly hard)
Great price but if you intend on spending your time in and around the canals I’d suggest somewhere closer as the €9.50 daily tram pass will add up
We really enjoyed our stay at Tribe Amsterdam City. The staff were lovely and welcoming - check in was super-quick as half of it was done via a self-check-in. Then the lady said 'enjoy your stay' and I accidentally said 'you too!'
We were staying on the eighth floor, which was a bit scary for me because I don't like to be high up, but it was all fine and I felt very safe. The lifts were very smooth and super-fast and the room was stylish and modern. The bathroom included a huge shower perfect for sexy time! And several quite luxe bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hand/body wash.
There were two free bottles of water for us in the fridge, though these weren't replenished on our second day. Housekeeping was good though and made the room look fresh and new. There were ample coffee-making facilities. On our second night, we went downstairs to the bar and got two free drinks for signing up to the ALL Accor Hotels program.
All in all we had a great stay and would highly recommend the hotel. It's a bit out of the way - very close to Amsterdam Noord station, though there's not really much there so you might be better off staying in Amsterdam Centraal if you want more action. But if you're looking for a pleasant, relaxing and quiet stay where you can enjoy yourselves as a couple, this is the place for you.
Lovely hotel in a good location around 6 minute walk to the nearest station which goes directly into central Amsterdam. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. We arrived after a long 13h travel day and were unable to get into our room due to a faulty lock. We went down to tell staff and were told there’s nothing wrong and try again, we made 3 trips up and down the 10th floor because they kept telling us we’re not doing it right. After the 4th visit Someone finally came up and had to bring a toolbox to change the battery on the door (they were unable to do it). We then were instructed to wait for someone else to come up which took another 10 minutes. Eventually we were let in and delayed by 45 minutes which then meant we needed to rearrange our evening plans which we had booked in advance of our trip. Overall the staff were not very helpful or sympathetic towards our arrival which was off-putting. The hotel itself is nice and is clean too.

We had the most wonderful stay at Swissôtel Amsterdam for our wedding anniversary, made even more special by a generous upgrade to a suite. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was impeccable—the staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated.
The suite was beautifully designed, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was plush, the amenities were thoughtful, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Every corner of the hotel exuded warmth and elegance, making it a perfect retreat in the heart of Amsterdam.
While the location is fantastic—right in the city center—it does come with a bit of street noise, but it wasn’t a major issue for us. The overall experience was still absolutely lovely, and we truly appreciated the effort put into making our anniversary so memorable.
Thank you, Swissôtel Amsterdam, for a fantastic stay! We’ll definitely be back.
Actually, I will talk about the negatives before the positives; When we arrived, I was shocked by the poor service there. First, they did not have cash when I arrived at the hotel with a taxi driver and I did not have the fare (change), so I had to spend fifty euros, but I was surprised that they did not have any exchange cash at hotel . Second, they did not have an assistant to carry the bags, so the bags were many and large, and I could not carry them alone, while I am a female and I cannot carry them. Third, they wanted us to stay on the third floor overlooking another building, but we refused because we wanted a higher floor. Their excuse was that the hotel was fully booked by residents and there were no rooms on the seventh or sixth floor. Also the cover sheet of bed had not changed since we had arrived. (Also there is something important to mention at last day we could not find a bolt or uber because maybe the location was a little bit far). But we had to speak to the hotel manager, who fixed all problems, he is a young East Asian man. Honestly, he was a good and understanding person, and he spoke politely. He apologized and upgraded us and helped us carry the bags. He deserves thanks and respect and apprecite

We had a comfortable one-night stay before an early morning flight out of Schiphol. It's only a 2 minute walk from the bus station and an under 15 minute ride by bus (they come pretty regularly, even at 6 AM) over to the airport. The hotel design has an environmental/animal focus, and it was pretty cool. It also seemed pretty newly renovated too. But would not recommend staying here if you're making the commute into the city center every day - takes quite a while and the trains aren't cheap.
The hotel is in good condition, the room was clean and the staff was very nice. It is very close to the metro station, a 5-10 min walk and 15-20 min to the next station where you can also take the train. You can take M54 and arrive in 20 min to the central station. Also it is very close to the airport a 30 min ride with the bus (cheaper way) or 10 min ride with the train (it is more expensive). It has a nice terrase where you can drink a coffee (it cost 3.50 euro). There is a nice park next to it where you can walk.

Good location for travelers as close to airport. Room was small but ok. Ceiling in shower abt 195cm - quite challenging to wash if you are 196…
Compare to regular hotel - number of options for eating to select (restaurant, buffet, burger place, bar, small convenience store)

SSeaSickDecA great hostel. Everything has been thought of.
The bunks/pods are very private. The main light is left on all night but you wouldn't notice with how good the curtains are. The light in the bunk is good and the plug socket and mesh storage is good.
The storage under the bunk is more than enough for most travellers. I have a v.big hold all and it was a snug fit.
The toilets and shower area are well maintained with lots of towels available.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
A really well thought out hostel.
Lockers to rent are also available at a fair price.
About a 15 min walk to the free ferry to get to Amsterdam Central and about 5 min walk to the nearest AH supermarket.
TT. ÇınarIt was a fascinating 3-day-journey. I really liked the hotel and the staff… They welcome you at the reception with a kind big smile. They gave two magnets while check-in and 3 key rings while checking out as presents.
Hotel’s location is very close (7-8 mins on food) to Sloterdijk Station which you can have access to train, metro, tram, public and international bus.
The room was clean. They changed the towels and cleaned the room on the second day. The bed was so comfortable and big enough. There was also a microwave oven, fridge, kettle and coffee/tea bags…
The only missing things are air condition and hair dryer.. there was a fan which works but seems mot enough to cool down the room.
If I come to Amsterdam one more time, I will stay there again.
GGuest UserQuite far away from transportation, so getting to the city takes a bit of time (40-60 min). The water didn't drain in the bathroom (the drainage is too high) , so there was a big puddle there all the time. There was no hairdryer in the room. Other than that - it's a nice place to stay.
NNick.KirsopGreat accommodation, free coffee was not working, when I asked reception they told me to ask the cleaning staff and then the cleaning staff asked me to ask reception so it did not fix it.
Had an outstanding staff member, an Ukraine girl, who I found very welcoming and helpful!
In this hotel it is not 420 friendly cannot smoke ******** outside but can smoke it 50 meters around the corner.
TTap TopThe best place I've ben staying so far from Amsterdam . modern design with historic charm, making it a standout choice for travelers looking for a stylish stay. The hotel features spacious rooms with comfortable beds and chic decor. Guests appreciate the lively atmosphere in the lobby, where they can enjoy great

STEIGENBERGER AIRPORT HOTEL AMSTERDAM SO CLEAN AND COMFY
Description
Feel so happy when I step in to the room, after fly long distance from Indonesia. The check in process is so fast, she looks very professional in her job. I forgot her name, so sorry, because I am so tried.
The room is so clean, bight and room size is great. I love the bedsheets so clean, white and crispy.
I didn't take breakfast so I can't tell. I definitely will be back to Steigenberger Airport Hotel. I used to stay in other hotel for so many years, until they make me so disappointed on my last stay 2023. And when I found this hotel and check in, hmm I feel so stupid why I was so loyal to previous hotel, I should change sooner.
Now I am happy and will be their customer, highly recommend!!!! seeing is believing, watch my youtube channel for your better view perspective.

AAndrei FIGreat choice for Amsterdam, just across the train station going to city center in less than 15min. Very nice rooms and the breakfast is great, although a bit pricy.
HHannahTerceroI had a very lovely overnight stay at ClinkNOORD. It was a last-minute trip so I was happy that they still had rooms available at a very affordable price. The location is really convenient. The breakfast was overall great.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, and super big thanks to Ms. Nhalie and Ms. Lorna for assisting me when I arrived and making everything so easy. I wasn't sure what to expect coz it's my first time booking a hostel in Europe but this experience made me feel safe and will definitely trust hostels more after this!
LloreleikvltWe had been really concerned after pre paying this hotel then reading bad reviews that had us convinced we would need to wear plastic suits the entire visit,, so I thought I'd give my review based around the concerns we had read, to try and be helpful ! some of the things were true , the sheets did come off the bed on mine but I wiggle but my friends both stayed on their beds. super annoying but I just slid it back on and you can always throw your cover over it instead and ask for another . Fortunately we didn't come across the bed bugs people mentioned !, the cat seemed happy and not flea ridden.. however the room was clean enough , no obvious mould. The beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean and quite nice
It wasn't huge but had ample.space for our things in the triple person room .
It's an old building with narrow windy stairs I'm glad the elevator worked. it's not a relax and sit in all day hotel..it's a place to sleep , shower ...charge your phone and keep your belongings.
The coffee machine was fine as far as basic goes.
The staff were fine
There was a fifty euro deposit on the desk, we just asked for a receipt after other things mentioned in reviews and were given a written one with no problem on leaving . We were offered one free housekeeping day as we stayed 4 nights but opted not to use it due to theft mentioned in reviews..
We stayed at the main hotel so I don't know if all the bad reviews were from the other or we just got lucky with our room but we had no problems, and when I went rustling down before hours looking for coffee the guy did help me before reception opened.
It's no paradise of a place , there are marks on the walls but faint...if you're fussy it's not the place for you but for the price and location, we really didn't mind it . It's a super great location as a base with a trendy area behind it
And a really cool vegan restaurant a tiny walk away a pub downstairs and metro train a stone's throw away
If you have the option to pay on arrival ask to see.your room first.you could take that route
Just to be safe, but all up it was fine..3 women travelling together there was no unsafe feeling there .
We didn't find it noisy.
