The staff was responsive when I made requests (none were unreasonable or outrageous). Room had a refrigerator, safe, iron and good storage. The furniture was comfortable.
I’ve come to Panama City 4 times in the last 6 months. It’s not the best hotel I’ve stayed in or the worst at the same price range. Everything has benefits or detriments. It just depends on what you like. It is in the El Congrejo area but only a block away from the busiest section so it is not loud while still being convenient.
The location is the best part of the hotel. The shower seems to have mold on the bottom. If it is not mold, it is not getting cleaned thoroughly. It’s very hard to get shampoo or conditioner out of the dispensers. I also don’t quite understand why the hotel
outs first a blanket on the bed and on top of it a sheet. I don’t think that it is. wry hygienic. I appreciate that the hotel
provides some on-the-go breakfast items for guests who leave before 6 AM.
Difficult to review because we were only there for 10 hours. The building is luxurious. The suites very nice. It had a beautiful courtyard, what little we could see of it in the early morning light. Wake-up call didn't work and we ended up paying $10.00 for a 5-minute ride to the airport because the shuttle leaves only on the hour and we didn't make it. The ”free” breakfast was worth every penny, but not much more. We have had better breakfasts at 3-star hotels.
This was a fantastic vacation. From the moment we arrived the staff took care of us like family. Veronica, Maried, Fabian, Latoya, our driver Emanuel and many others made our stay enjoyable. The room, pools and food were also very good.
This is not the first time I have been to this hotel!
Everything you need is within walking distance and there are no problems with staff if you have a guest.
The terrace upstairs is a plus, as are the marble furniture and spacious rooms.
There are definitely some drawbacks, but the price partly compensates for them!

GGuest UserWe stayed one night, three couples. Excellent location, close to a mall, restaurants, hospital, pharmacies. A couple blocks from Balboa avenue. Restaurant and coffee shop on the lobby level, free parking and we got to leave our car for four days while we travelled to San Blas Islands. We all said we would stay here again.

A wonderful experience in the Heart of Casco Viejo!
Art Casco is hands-down one of the most stylish and comfortable boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Casco Viejo, with historic charm all around and just steps from the waterfront, restaurants, and beautiful architecture.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing—so warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. There was a bit of confusion about my second day of booking, even though I had paid online. But they handled it with patience and professionalism. Please make sure this hotel gets their money—they truly deserve it.
The rooms are artistically designed, clean, and full of character. Every detail—from the artwork to the furniture—felt curated with care. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure (a big deal in Panama!).
The entire property felt like a peaceful, artistic escape from the buzz of the city. If you’re looking for a boutique stay that blends art, comfort, and outstanding service, Art Casco is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning!
GGuest UserRoom was nice and comfortable though carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time.
Had a massage at the spa. Extremely disorganized and inexperienced massuese. With 30 minutes notice of my arrival there were no towels or robes ready. She kept bringing things one at a time even while i waz naked getting into the shower- bath mat, then robe, then robe belt, then towel, then slippers. I told her i just want back massage and done strong but i had to keep telling her where to rub and to be stronger.
Other than that the facility was nice
I used on line booking to book one day, then two more days then three more days. I always book for two but om the last three days something went wrong and somehow got booked only 1 person. Desk attendant told me $55 a day to change to two person. I think the app which i didn’t use the first two times defaulted to kne person and i didn’t have a chance to select two person
It waa extremely difficult to get a drink at the bar.
I did manage to get a drink at the bar then moved to a table. When i got the bill for items at the tae, the drink i had already paid for was on the bill. The waitress corrected it, thankfui had the bar receipt in my pocket
AAnonymous Userinternet connection isn't great and that could be a problem. Unfortunately, there is no fridge in the room either. The location is not really far from the Via Argentina metro station and staff is very polite and helpful.
AAnonymous UserThe room is big, but not fully functional, there is no bathtub, no USB charging port, the flushing toilet in the bathroom is too loud, dare not flush at night, it will wake people up
DDarío CórdovaFacilities excellent, rooms always clean.
Very good varied breakfast, the only novelty was presented at the entrance because it did not reflect the reservation, I do not share the alternative solution by the establishment because they demanded a guarantee until the novelty was resolved, value that was refunded on the 3rd day.
