This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway in a natural seaside style. It offers a pleasant atmosphere, fresh air, and friendly, attentive service. The breakfast is also delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with well-designed separate areas for the toilet and shower. There are two swimming pool zones and a variety of engaging guest activities, such as morning yoga, afternoon boxing, and water exercise sessions.

The place is quite lovely, and the staff is polite mand always ready to assist the guests. It is super clean and tidy, and the food is amazing. However, there are things that I cannot overlook. The Internet is one of them, we did not have an internet connection at this hotel. The wifi signal is horrible. There are too many ants. We had a room on the fourth floor, and they managed to climb up there. If you leave some food on the table or a desk, there should be an ant party within 30 minutes. The place is kinda old, it doesn't feel like a four-star place. Some things are outdated. The restaurant is pretty expensive compared to the other restaurants close by (mango sticky rice is 200 compared to an average 100 outside)and the beach bar was closed due the renovation. We had fun here and we will be back. I highly recommend this place for families. This is not a critique but a guideline on how to improve. Cheers!

Very good , good big room , lots of things to do , great price at time of booking considering what has to offer compared to other places in the area , good breakfast not the best I save that for star convention in rayong .. Overall considering we on am island at the mercy of controlled prices was as a fair deal , stay again in a couple of days ..

Beautiful place, very beautiful beach, can swim, newly opened accommodation, many management still need to be improved, such as the amount of breakfast, drinks during long holidays are not enough for guests, the hotel tries to manage the situation well, but customers have to wait a bit. If you focus on a survival atmosphere, it is okay. Cleanliness is okay, bathroom, shower room should have shoes for customers to change into. The tent is cleaned every day and you can ask for new towels every day.

Pros: excellent staff that tries their best to welcome and make you feel at best during your stay. Great aircon, bathtub (water pressure), pillows n firm bed. Wide array of breakfast selections - from continental, indian, thai, chinese, sandwich station, noodle bar, fresh juice bar, etc. Great beachfront views with pool menu that doesnt cost an arm or a leg. Cool marshmallow ritual every evening too. Yummy welcome chocolate (not the cheap kind). Would definitely come back n recommend to friends n fam. Cons: sausages line for breakfast couldve use a more premium ones...egg station should be expanded with more staff since it is the busiest of all in the morning..water pressure (shower) couldve been stronger like the bath tub, cleaning hours could be better managed and attentive (they forgot to refill the soap/shampoo).

We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps.

We stayed with my husband in this beautiful hotel for a week in December 2023. To be honest, a week was not enough for us. We liked everything: the hotel staff, the excellent beach, the cleanliness of the hotel, the location of the hotel (there are cafes and shops nearby), the breakfasts are varied and very tasty. At breakfast, if desired, you can eat soup. Many thanks to the chef and all the staff of the hotel for making your stay at the hotel unforgettable!

Nice hotel cut into 2 parts by a street. Modern part towards the sea with a nice pool and different bungalows. Older part hillside with an additional pool. No elevator. No sand but rocky beach. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet 7-10 am. 7/11 & macro store next door.

We really liked the hotel. Large well-kept territory, good breakfasts. We really liked the villa on the slope for its privacy, large patio. Lots of photo zones. The room lacked basic hooks for towels and a dryer. I recommend it and would like to come back myself.

Hotel was lovely, right on the beach and could to the local shops. We had a terrible issue with flies, and even though we ensured all the doors and windows remained closed, these tiny flies still appeared from the drains. We had to ask the staff to come every evening to help (which they did) but it wasn’t the best welcome back after a day out to have flies on all our personal belongings, especially when the main area was in the bathroom.
