The breakfast is very good, the hygiene is also very good, like his big bathtub, uninterrupted hot water, and the service at the front desk is also very good, stayed here for half a month, everything went well
Stayed at many hotels, this hotel makes me feel good. The room was clean and tidy, and the quality of breakfast was good. Parking is free and is close to Swarthmore College, 10 minutes by car. The hotel is in the small town of Media. There are a lot of shopping malls and supermarkets around, and life is convenient. The lobby bar is quiet. Hot water, coffee, tea bags, cocoa powder, etc. are provided throughout the day. The business center has computers for guests to use for free. There will be cookies at the front desk in the evening, and fruits in the lobby bar. You can just sit there and read a book or watch TV. I think it's more intentional than Hampton's management elsewhere.
I gave this hotel 4 stars because they responded to my complaint in a timely manner. However, I got little sleep due to the guests in the room next to me, blasted music and screaming all night long. The woman at the desk did come up and ask for them to quiet down but it only made a small difference.
The design of the hotel is very friendly. The rooms next door can be opened to communicate with each other. It is clean and tidy. Washing and bathing are also separated separately, making it convenient for residents to wash and organize at the same time. 🈶️For airport pick-up service, you need to call the hotel front desk
Location not super - about 15 minutes from Bethlehem downtown. Newish hotel and the interior is a little more lux than your typical mid-range US hotel. That being said, the breakfast was a disappointment. No healthy options: just sugary yogurt (why no plain greek yogurt?), the bananas had brown spots on them each of the 3 days I stayed (and weren't replaced), the oats were DIY from a packet which are never as nice as when they are made up as a batch which negated the appeal of the toppings.
刘刘Free parking, standard American-style breakfast, free ice water and free planed rice in the lobby. The location of the hotel is close to the main road, the room is not too big, and there is noise near a train.
马马The road in front of the hotel has a main road and a secondary road with a separation belt in the middle. Baidu navigation has always been prompted to sit on the road, the result has been walking on the left main road, eyes can not enter the hotel, have to turn back. The room was clean and the service was good. No coffee pot, no hot water, instant noodles can't be soaked. The left hand of the hotel is not far from the intersection. There is a Chinese-opened restaurant. It is good to pay for food by self-service.
GGuest UserHotel was very nice and the room felt like home. I didn’t like that it didn’t tell me if the room had a shower or tub even after putting the child’s age. That’s a little frustrating because it’s kind of hard to wash a 3year old up in a shower. My room was non-smoking but the room smelled like old smoke so I cleaned very good to get that smell out which wasn’t too bad at all. The staff who worked the night shift I have a few problems with. I don’t think she may be mean or a mean person but she’s definitely not a peoples person. Her attitude was very rude dry and cut-off. When asking her anything she made us feel like we were annoying her and she lied to our face about the room she put us in. She tried to say the room says shower only but couldn’t provide where it say that because it said or tub and I know when you arrive for check-in they will give you a room that’s available according to your reservation. There was no option for me to request or make sure a tub was in the room. She did pick up on us taking her interaction with us as rude and tried to make it somewhat better. She doesn’t smile and have a look on her that says I don’t want to be here or deal with this. I didn’t like that the description doesn’t match a lot of the things at this location and probably wouldn’t have booked here had I know they didn’t have no kid activities besides basketball and miniature golf. I love that it’s next to a lot of shopping stores and din-in and out restaurants that are walking distance. I just advice you to either contact the hotel or whoever you are booking certain details because this happened twice picking a room that’s available according can be giving with either one regardless of the child age.
GGuest UserExcellent stay at the Double Tree Hotel. Just stayed for one night and paid a little more to have a room on the 23rd floor. Had a beautiful view of City Hall. Parking was self park and $38 in the garage next door. However a nice perk is you get parking privileges until 11:59pm on the day of check out. So if you have a few more hours to explore Philly you can just leave your car in the garage. Room was very clean, bright and the staff were friendly. King size bed was comfortable. Overall very satisfied
GGuest UserFor us the location was great! The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service, for the most part, was very good, with the only exception being the gentleman who manned the front desk on arrival. Not friendly at all. It felt like we were an interruption. Breakfast was your standard fair. Scrambled, powdered eggs and sausage or bacon, and make your own waffles. Coffee, juice choices, bagels, and packaged sweets. It was good and it does make for a fast and convenient meal.
The WIFI on our floor was horrible! In this day in age, this is unacceptable! I ended up using the computer by the breakfast area to set up our outgoing flight!
The building is becoming dated but, there was construction going on so perhaps they are updating. The bathroom did not have a fan or any towel racks. Unfortunately, it appears that people have been using the shower curtain rod as it is tilted downward and you really need to make adjustments to avoid a wet floor. There are no handles for the physically impaired. Getting in and out of this slippery bathtub is difficult. Our toilet tank had a leak and frequently had to reload water. Finally, the HVAV is good and it is also loud. But if you have traveled a lot, this is fairly common.
An extra note. We decided that we really didn't need a rental and would use Lyft/Uber. It worked well but there is rarely a car nearby. We made sure we allowed time to get picked.
Because of its location and that it was typical of a hotel of this ranking, I would stay there again.
AAnonymous UserThe staff was very nice and friendly. The chlorine smell was overwhelming in the lobby and it was even worse in the pool area. We couldn’t stay in the pool area for more than 5 minutes before we had rashes and had trouble breathing because of the chlorine. The room was not that great a broken receptacle cause me a minor zap. A random chair in the far corner that seemed wedged against the wall had a water stair or something on the foot rest part (we stayed away from that it looked like it had seen better days or was ready to just give up. Broken security lock on door, burn in curtain in a non smoking room, the curtain was hard to close, broken door stop on bathroom door, shower curtain was much too small for the shower which cause water to end up on the bathroom floor so much so that the bath mat couldn’t keep the floor without a small puddle. For a two night stay for two people we were given 3 towels. Thankfully I always bring my own towels. The jacuzzi tub was amazing though after we cleaned and disinfected it. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The incessant pounding that started the second morning at 10am and went until who knows when ( we got so sick of it we drove over to Hershey for the day around noon). The first day at 4pm was when we first noticed the pounding at 6:30 we went for dinner because the noise was a bit much and came back around 9:30pm. The next day (second day) we found out when it started again it was construction 3 rooms away they were putting in flooring.
