If you go to Morocco, you can't miss this! 6 recommended experiences that will make you want to go to Morocco 🇲🇦✨ Speaking of Morocco, cute riads 🧡 The riad I stayed in in Fez was about 4,000 yen per person per night with breakfast included, and it was spacious and the best value for money. The freshly squeezed 100% orange juice you drink in the morning is exceptional! Many riads do not have hair dryers, so be sure to check when making a reservation ⚠️ The blue city "Chefchaouen" was the most fun to take photos of. I was looking forward to it even before I went, and it was even more beautiful than I expected 🥹 It takes 4 hours and 30 minutes by bus from Fez, but it was still fun to arrive at noon and return in the evening. There are also delicious restaurants and cute miscellaneous goods stores, so it's of course recommended to stay and relax! I think "food" is quite important when traveling, and all the Moroccan food was delicious and impressive. The tajine was especially delicious, and I was happy to be able to eat meat and vegetables together 😋 I often ordered tajine, Moroccan salad, and orange juice. At night, many food stalls are set up in Fna Square in Marrakech, and they are famous for their boiled snails 🐌 It was full and very busy, so I tried it. To be honest, it didn't suit my taste, but it was not impossible to eat... it was a memorable experience 😂 The Sahara Desert in Merzouga was worth going to, even if it was a little difficult in terms of schedule 🏜 I arrived from Fez on a 10-hour night bus and was exhausted, but seeing the overwhelming presence of the Sahara Desert made me glad I came. Morocco is one of the three most annoying countries in the world 🇲🇦 The other two are India and Egypt. This time, I will write about my trip to Morocco in early June 2023. I hope it will be helpful ☺️ I will start with the conclusion! In recent years, Morocco has been recommended for solo female travelers, and the local people are all kind and will tell you that it is dangerous if your bag is open. To put it in a positive way, most people are friendly. Instead, the touts are quite persistent. They will talk to you saying "Hello" and "Tokyo? Osaka?" 😅 This is why it is called an annoying country. It's okay to clearly refuse or ignore them. 👩🏻 Me, a 25-year-old woman (poor English ability) Traveling from Malta while studying abroad Members who went with me: 20s, 1 woman, 2 men, one of whom is Korean, a total of 4 people ☀️ About the season The trip to Morocco was decided at short notice. I wanted to give myself more time, but when I looked it up, I found out that June to August is also summer in Morocco. I read that it's dangerously hot, so I set the date as early as possible. The best season is apparently spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). The temperature is mild, and you can comfortably visit the tourist spots. I actually went in early June, just past the best season, and it was still hot. I don't handle the heat well, so I got sick and it was tough, but my friend was fine. I don't think most cheap accommodations have air conditioners. They did have electric fans. It wasn't hot at night when I went, and I was able to sleep well with just the electric fan. Unlike the heat in Japan, the sun is strong and it's hot, so I think it was a little cooler at night. I went from Marrakech to Sahara Desert Tour to Fez to Chefchaouen to Casablanca in one week. Airfares are expensive, but prices are cheap in Morocco. I found a place to stay for 2000 yen, but I was so nervous that I gave up lol You may think the photos look great, but it was a tough trip with the heat and fatigue from traveling. But it's a good memory! The main means of transportation within the country is by car or bus. It's far to get to any city, so the travel time is long and tiring. If you get motion sickness easily, don't forget your medicine. I'm planning to post a detailed Morocco travel diary in the near future. #passionpassport Morocco is actually a very interesting place to visit and you can perhaps plan for a 1 week trip here. first off you can visit Marrakech which is the city. it would perhaps be better to book a tour for this because you can also enjoy a few nights at the Sahara desert with the help of a tour booking. and just gaze at the night stars , it’s really pretty. and ride on some camels which is like something you don’t usually get to do. staying in the hostels is also relatively affordable and they are quite nicely decorated. visit koutobia, a Mosque and it has a nice structure. and also try out all the local delights.

As many other reviewers have said, this is probably one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The Riad is beautiful, the service is first class and the food (breakfast and dinner) is fantastic. Yasmine and Alexandre are gracious and kind hosts, and it was our pleasure to enjoy their hospitality. Booked a driver to take us to Voubilis and Meknes, arranged a guide to show us the medina and recommended restaurants for the evenings we didn't eat at the hotel. My wife really enjoyed her cooking class with Fatima and can't wait to make an authentic tagine at home. In short, please stay at Road La Calife; I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Beautiful converted villa set in beautiful gardens. From the moment we entered the vibe was comfort and homely service. Excellent staff from the front end to the restaurant and housekeeping. We joined a tour group from the US and we were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of tourist lodging. Very nicely decorated and visually appealing. Very nice touches throughout the property, including the fireplace and fire pit to ward off the winter chill. Our room was in the main building on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was in good condition, very clean and well maintained. Beds, linens and robes are top quality. Sleep quality was excellent for quiet grounds. Room wifi works but not fast. Food service is very good. The breakfast buffet is stocked with a large selection of morning foods, strong hot coffee and tea, and cooked to order eggs. Not wanting to venture out after touring all day we had dinner on two nights and both experiences were positive. The staff are attentive and knowledgable of the evening menu and wine. Their chicken tagine set the bar very high for this Moroccan holiday. The bar staff are friendly and the ambiance of the lounge area takes you back to a magical era of cocktails, billiards and jazz music. Charming property, wonderful staff, comfortable lodging and superb location all combined for this positive review. There is definitely some confusion here about these two museums. I visited the Écomusée in Ourika, which is just off the road going to the Ourika Valley waterfall. This place is the original home of a tribal leader who united the three tribes living in the valley. It is connected to the Maison de la photographie in Marrakech. The guide we met was friendly and very entertaining. He was a font of knowledge and his style brought the history to life. He gave us an overview of the Berber culture and traditions which are sadly being wiped out. On display are original everyday tools, utilities, hand woven rugs, jewellery and photographs. Our 4 day desert tour was very special and was no doubt much better then we expected. Youssef was a very lovely, considerate, caring and patient guide. He was a very people’s person getting along with all of us on the tour in a very respectful and understanding manner. He made the whole experience very enjoyable with his in depth knowledge and facilitation of our needs. The camel riding was an experience of a lifetime, riding through the desert during sunset and after. Quad biking I have experienced in many countries however this was easily by far the best a wonderful breathtaking scenic adventure. To top it off a action packed sand dunes ride on a jeep ride. The historic sites we visited and the absolutely fantastic night in the desert camp with our host Mohammed being a truly inspiring host to remember for life. He really spoilt us with lots of refreshments and delicious food and an awe inspiring service. Sleeping under the stars was a truly magical experience. This tour thought of everything and were very accommodating to our needs. I would genuinely highly recommend this adventure for both families and friends alike. Booked a guide through the hotel. Probably the most expensive way to do it but IMHO worth it. Collected us from the shuttle. Asked what we wanted to see, so told him we had 3 hours and showed him the best. He took us through the Kingdom gates to Medina. We went through the streets, our guide explained the old and recent history and architecture. We arrived at the Palace before 10 so there was no queue. We then walked through the palace for 1 1/2 hours. Speaking of the original building, France changed and how it was kept and repaired. All very nice and although relatively new, the way it was built dates back to the past. Looking up and down shows care and pride in building a palace. #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes#beaches
