For season 2024, it opens from 8 June to 20 October 2024. The return journey for adult without discount costs is CHF 96 per person. You can either purchase the ticket online or at the station in Brienz. To make sure you able to get a seat, it would be better to purchase the ticket including seat guarantee in advance or be there early to buy it at the station. I hiked along the lakeside trail from Iseltwald to Brienz and passed waterfalls, wildflowers, and quiet picnic spots. The Giessbach Falls crashing into the lake were epic.
