#Oze #Gunma #Niigata #Fukushima I went to Oze. I visited the Gunma side, but it also spans Niigata and Fukushima, so you can enjoy nature over a very wide area. You have to travel by bus through the areas where private cars are prohibited, but there are many buses and I had a comfortable ride with almost no waiting time. It's probably difficult to see all the areas in just one day, but as of October, the autumn leaves are at their peak, so I'd like to go again next year if I can! #Breathtaking views

“Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku” (宝川温泉汪泉閣) is a ryokan-style resort in a beautiful open-air hot spring area in Minakami City, Gunma Prefecture. Every season changes…cold…spring…hot…fall We found that in the middle of autumn, this inn is as beautiful as an oil painting, with colors painted on paper. In November, the temperature drops by 6-7 degrees Celsius in the morning. Deciduous trees such as maples and ginkgo trees begin to adapt to the long winter by shedding their leaves to reduce water loss. This is a natural phenomenon that turns red and yellow in sequence. The beautiful view is created to impress us when we visit. It takes about 3-4 hours to travel from Tokyo, and we will arrive at the “million-dollar view” inn. 🍷 #Million-dollar view inn

Out of all the highway rest stops we visited during our Japan trip, Akagi Kogen SA (Upbound) truly stood out as one of the best. The area is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it more than just a pit stop. What really impressed me was the garden area at the back, which was specially created for dog owners—a thoughtful touch that reflects how well-rest areas are integrated into the Japanese road travel experience. The restrooms were huge and spotless, and the souvenir shop was packed with local goodies, snacks, and regional products. Everything had a modern and welcoming feel to it. We had dinner at the attached food court, which had multiple stalls offering all kinds of Japanese fare. We opted for ramen—it was decent, nothing fancy, but the portion size was massive. Honestly, one bowl could easily feed two people. Kudos to the friendly server for their generosity! Before hitting the road again, we grabbed coffee from a small café tucked in the corner—a lovely surprise with good-quality brews to go. History and the mysteries of nature encountered underground Doai Station is an unmanned station on the JR Joetsu Line located in Minakami-machi, Tone-gun, Gunma Prefecture, and is known as the "number one mole station in Japan" due to its unique structure. 📍Doai Station 🗺️218-2 Yubiso, Minakami-machi, Tone-gun, Gunma Prefecture 🚉JR Joetsu Line local trains stop here, but the number of trains per day is limited, so we recommend checking the timetable in advance. ⭐️Underground platform The platform for the outbound line (towards Niigata) is located in the Shin-Shimizu Tunnel, about 82 meters underground, and it takes about 10 minutes to descend 486 steps from the station building on the ground. Sarugakyo Onsen in the Minakami Onsen area is a hidden gem - ̗̀ ☺︎☺︎☺︎ ̖́-Lake Akaya is right in front of you. All rooms have a retro Showa-era view and even come with a kotatsu table. ♡⃛It's still cold in the mornings and evenings around Sarugakyo Onsen at this time of year, so the kotatsu table is a blessing. ✨ There is a veranda, so the lake can be seen from a chair. 🤍The hot spring is also very good, and the view from the open-air bath is the best!! To be honest, this clip is a very energetic clip. A day of energy. At first, I didn't think it would be difficult, but when I actually went to play, I knew that this type of sport is really not suitable for me. Not only does it require a lot of physical strength, but it also falls a lot. I can't do it, I can't fight with other people. Took my first ever ski trip and couldn’t be happier to get on my first snowboarding experience at the Hodaigi ski area. An all inclusive trip started at a meet up point in Shinjuku at midnight before embarking on a six hour overnight bus ride to the Hodaigi ski area. Just as the dawn was breaking we arrived and it was just beautiful to be greeted with heavy snowfall and later the sky clears making it perfect for snowboarding.To add to the fun there was occasional snowfall throughout the day and it just couldn’t be more magical. Overall it was great first experience and i am looking forward to more snowboarding trip’s hopefully in Hokkaido in 2024 #2024wish #bucketlistchecked

The Tanigawa Ropeway is a beautiful cable car ride that takes passengers up to Mount Tanigawa, which is known as the “Roof of Gunma”.
