After spending too much time amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, I found myself yearning for an escape to embrace nature. This time, I set my destination to Tongyuli Homestay in Angji, embarking on a refreshing and joyful two-day, one-night journey. First Impressions of Tongyuli Upon arriving in Angji, the picturesque scenery of green mountains and clear waters unfolded like a natural painting. As the car slowly approached Tongyuli Homestay, the white building nestled among bamboo forests and tea gardens immediately caught my eye. Its minimalist modern design, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and harmonious blend with the surrounding lush greenery made it look like a cottage straight out of a fairy tale. Stepping into the homestay, I was warmly greeted by the hostess, Mrs. Tongyuli, who handled the check-in process with meticulous care. The spacious and bright lobby, with its modern style and wooden elements, exuded an artistic vibe. Every decoration and ornament reflected the host's thoughtful attention to detail. Cozy Guest Rooms Tongyuli offers nine uniquely designed rooms. The room I stayed in was spacious, measuring 50-60 square meters, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that brought the vibrant greenery outside into the room. Equipped with smart home devices, a simple "Hey, Xiao Ai" command allowed me to control the lights and curtains effortlessly, adding a touch of convenience to the trip. Lying on the soft 1.8-meter King Koil bed, gazing at the swaying bamboo forest outside, all my fatigue melted away, and it felt as though all my worries had been left far behind. Starry Sky Pool Fun In the scorching summer, the homestay's pool was undoubtedly the most enticing feature. The pool is filled with mountain spring water and undergoes regular filtration throughout the day, ensuring crystal-clear water. When sunlight dances on the water's surface, it sparkles like a giant blue mirror. Immersing myself in the cool spring water was utterly refreshing, a sensation so delightful that I couldn't get enough of it. After swimming, I lounged on a poolside chair, basking in the sun, sipping a chilled drink, and enjoying the leisurely afternoon. At night, the starry lights above the pool illuminated, complementing the twinkling stars in the sky. Swimming under this celestial canopy felt like being in the vast universe—an incredibly romantic experience. Stream Trekking at the Homestay Entrance Right at the entrance of the homestay flows a crystal-clear stream, serving as a natural playground for stream trekking. Stepping into the cool water, a refreshing sensation instantly enveloped me. The water was so clear that I could see small fish and shrimp darting between the rocks. A gentle movement of my feet would send a school of fish scattering, a delightful sight. When tired, I found a shallow spot to sit, soaking my feet in the water, feeling the gentle caress of the stream, and listening to its soothing murmurs. It felt as though time had come to a standstill. Exploring Nearby Attractions Tongyuli boasts a prime location, just 5.2 kilometers from the popular Cloud Grassland scenic spot, a mere few minutes' drive away. If time permits, you can also visit nearby attractions like the Great Bamboo Sea and Shanggou Scenic Area to enjoy diverse natural landscapes. Farewell and Memories The two-day, one-night trip to Tongyuli in Angji quickly came to an end. During this brief stay, I indulged in the starry sky pool, experienced the fun of stream trekking at the homestay's entrance, and enjoyed restful moments in the cozy room. Every view and experience here left a lasting impression. As I departed, my heart was filled with reluctance, eagerly anticipating the next reunion with Tongyuli to continue this beautiful connection with nature.
