Just came back from Changbai Mountain, here is the guide. 🙋Accommodation For this vacation, we chose the Changbai Mountain Huamei Shengdi Resort Area, and stayed in two hotels for a four-day and three-night itinerary. They are Meilihui Apartment Hotel and Yuanxiang Folk Hotel. Yuanxiang Folk Hotel for 1 night Rebuilt on the old site of the village, it is a authentic Northeast courtyard, with big red lanterns and paper window flowers. You can borrow traditional costumes for free at the front desk for photos, and there are also special paper-cutting activities. It feels like living in a snow town when it snows. I was a little worried before going that I would not be used to sleeping on the kang, but after sleeping for one night, I fell in love with the warm kang! The soft and hard are just right, and it is electrically heated all night, and the sleep is so fragrant~ Meilihui Apartment Hotel for 2 nights The main reason for choosing Meilihui is that it is convenient in all aspects. The purchase starts with a "all-inclusive" consumption mode that does not require thinking, and there are many skiing and snow entertainment rights when checking in. The hotel is located on the commercial street, not far from the snow field across the street, which means that when others are still waiting for the shuttle bus, we can already walk back to the commercial street to eat. The suite also has a washing machine and a refrigerator, which greatly reduces the burden on my suitcase and can bring fewer clothes. 🉑Snow season activities Skiing: If you are also interested in skiing like me, then the ski resort of Huamei Shengdi is very suitable for beginners. And every hotel in the resort area comes with a snow ticket, even if you don't ski, you can wear a helmet and go in to play. The snow trail is very wide, and the resort area itself is not large, so there won't be many people. The most important thing for beginners to ski is safety. If you like excitement, then the resort has a super snow ring (up to 1000 meters, you need to take a cable car to the top), snow utv & snowmobile (there are 4 routes to choose from, you can go into the forest) , Snow hot air balloon & paraglider (fly to the sky to see the romantic snow scene). The Snow Entertainment Park is simply a paradise for children. Southern kids who like snow can also have fun here. Snow spinning, snow excavator and other projects are very interesting. There are also ice fishing, Baixi rime drifting, deep snow hiking, deep snow camping and other activities full of Northeast characteristics. 🉑Catering The catering choices are mainly the restaurants that come with each hotel and the commercial street. The barbecue, grilled meat, and hot pot on the commercial street are so delicious, and I haven't repeated them for several days. My favorite on the commercial street is No. 7 Coffee. You must try the special frozen pear coffee. There is no minefield. There is also an art exhibition in the coffee shop now, which is very good for taking pictures. 👉TIPS: When writing the guide, I saw that many hotels in Huamei Shengdi are already full. If you really want to travel off-peak, it is recommended to look at the period after the Spring Festival. At the end of the snow season, the hotel prices will generally drop a lot, and the cost performance is extremely high!
