The hotel restaurant is open from morning until late at night, so you can go eat even if you are late on a tour. The menu is extensive and I ate at this restaurant for three nights and never got bored. You can also relax in front of the pool, and it has a resort feel that is different from Cairo. They also gave me lunch when I went on a tour of the Abu Simbel temples. I used the laundry service, and it was very quick and my clothes were returned nicely ironed, which was very helpful.
