The Great Temple of Abu Simbel, a World Heritage Site in Egypt, is this all correct?!

The Great Temple of Abu Simbel is Ramses II's building and a symbol of his great ostentatiousness. However, it is said that the temple of enormous scale was originally located on the banks of the Nile River. Then, when the dam was built, the water level rose and the Great Temple was in danger of being submerged, so it was moved to its current location with support from UNESCO and the West. The story is explained in the memorial hall before going to the Abu Simbel Temple, but when I actually saw it, I wondered how they moved this big thing... It was really amazing.🤣 I guess that means it has preservation value. Since there are people who visit Aswan just to see Abu Simbel, if you come to Aswan, you should definitely take a tour of the Great Temple. However, it is quite far from downtown Aswan.
