The Cradle of Western Civilization, Athens

I was deeply moved by seeing the Parthenon, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament Building, the Roman Agora, and the Temple of Zeus under restoration, all of which are remnants of ancient Greek civilization. I could imagine the Greeks of the past building these structures and living their lives right before my eyes. Athens has always been a bucket list destination that I wanted to visit at least once.
