Experiencing Nyepi Day (Balinese Day of Silence) at Wana Shanti Villa near Ubud. . Wana Shanti was dreamy — surrounded by nature, super peaceful. My introvert self loved having my own cozy balcony room while my friends enjoyed their private villa pool. . Nyepi was magical: total silence, no lights, no going out. Even the airport stops! It felt grounding and reflective, almost like time froze. . The only downside? The villa's menu had limited food options — but some hotels doesn't even supply food. .
