Wat Saket has its origins in the Ayutthaya Dynasty. It is also called the Golden Mount because of the golden pagoda on the hill. 🥸 You have to climb about 300 steps to reach the top, but the base is beautifully maintained with lots of greenery, and there are also bells and gongs, so you can enjoy the journey as you make your way to the top. 💪 When you reach the dazzling pagoda, you can see the wonderful Bangkok cityscape that spreads out in 360 degrees! It is rare to find a place like this in a temple, and it is very refreshing to see the thoughts of the people who devote their faith overlap. 🎐 If possible, try to go when the weather is good. Please note that clothing that exposes a lot of skin is not allowed when entering, so please dress appropriately for worship. 😉 (I did not see any cloths for renting to cover your skin) The nearest subway station is Sam Yot Station (about a 15-minute walk).
