At the end
At the end of bustling Chinatown, there is a low-key but stunning historical mansion - Sol Heng Tai House. Walking into the hidden alley, you will find a century-old house with a strong traditional architectural style. The most surprising thing is that there is a swimming pool in the atrium.
After leaving the ancient house, stroll along the street for more than ten minutes to reach the pier. Not only can you enjoy watching various boats coming and going here, it is also a great place to watch the sunset on the Bangkok riverbank. The moment you walk into Josh Hotel, you really will think you have traveled back to the set of a youth movie in the United States in the 1980s. This design hotel hidden in the Ari cultural district is full of nostalgia in every detail from the entrance to the lobby, which makes people's eyes shine.
The biggest feature of the lobby space is the complete presentation of retro American style, from the black and white checkerboard tiles on the floor to the nostalgic sofas, which perfectly create the atmosphere of a classic era. This time
This time in Bangkok, I randomly discovered a lunch restaurant called tu baan eatery, which has a very high quality. It looks low-key and hipster from the outside, but when I walked in, I found that the whole store has a very strong sense of design, just like a fashion selection store! The wooden decoration is matched with soft lighting and green plants, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, which is very suitable for one or two people to have a quiet meal or chat.
Unfortunately, the waiter didn’t speak English very well, so we had to rely on translation apps or gestures when ordering.
Overall, if you are not afraid of language barriers, this store is really worth visiting to experience the daily life in Bangkok.
Recommended reasons:
① The interior decoration of the store is super beautiful, with a sense of design and a natural atmosphere, and a quiet environment

Bangkok|5 reasons to love GUMP’s Ari! This "dreamlike photography paradise" made my phone explode with capacity❤️Not only is it beautiful, it's also fun to shop and the food is delicious!
If you are a fan of taking photos, desserts and coffee, then you really can’t miss this gathering place for internet beauties hidden in the Ari district - GUMP’s Ari Community Space! Bangkok|Jim Thompson Museum The Secret of the Wooden House Explore the Cultural Charm of Thai Architecture
After visiting the courtyard of the Jim Thompson Museum, we returned to the starting point. In order to protect the precious wooden floor, the guide asked everyone to put their shoes in the shoe cabinet, and then started to explore the interior of this historic building from the first floor.
The floor is not big, but it has a rich collection, with many images of gods and Buddhas and statues from hundreds of years ago on display. We walked up to the second floor along the antique wooden planks, where we used to dine, filled with all kinds of Chinese porcelain and tableware.
Next, we came to the spacious living room, which was where Thompson received guests. As I walked through the living room and headed for the master bedroom, a carved wooden door caught my eye. The tour guide revealed that there was a safe hidden behind the door. Only Thompson knew the password, and it has not been opened yet, adding a bit of mystery.
During the entire visit, in addition to appreciating historical relics, you can also feel the atmosphere and stories of past life. Reasons for high recommendation:
① The traditional stilt house architecture is combined with modern exhibition design, creating a strong cultural atmosphere
② The mysterious disappearance of Jim Thompson adds interest and topic to the visit
③ The cool ventilation and teak aroma in the house make people feel comfortable physically and mentally

Bangkok | See the colorful Elephant Parade in Bangkok
Walking in a corner of Bangkok, my eyes were inadvertently attracted by an orange sign, the name of the store is "Elephant Parade". The entrance is filled with various recycled parts and installation art. An elephant made of iron sheets stands on a rope reel, as if telling its story.
This is not just a souvenir shop. Each painted elephant model in Elephant Parade is handmade by an artist and has a touching story behind it.
As soon as you open the door, you will be surrounded by a group of colorful elephants! The store displays a wide variety of cute elephant dolls, each of which is a hand-painted creation by an artist. Some are full of childlike fun, some are full of cultural atmosphere, and each one is unique. These pieces are more than just souvenirs, they are a way to support elephant conservation
If you like souvenirs that have warmth and stories, this shop is definitely not to be missed!

Bangkok|It turns out that the city night view can be so beautiful! We watched it on the balcony all night and didn't want to sleep ✨
My favorite moment when traveling is returning to my hotel room, closing the door, and getting away from the hustle and bustle outside. The two of us sat together quietly, without much talk, just quietly enjoying this exclusive time that belongs to us
Bangkok at night really has an indescribable charm. The lights in the city are lit up one by one. Looking down from the high building, the whole city seems to be dotted with a sea of glittering stars.
The streets are still bustling with people, with food stalls, night markets, bars, shopping malls, and everything else, as if night is the time when Bangkok truly wakes up.
The night in this city is both noisy and romantic, modern and has a bit of chaotic charm. Staying here really makes people reluctant to sleep, and they just want to take one more look at this scenery.
In such a space, each other's company is the most beautiful gift, which makes the journey more complete and allows the soul to truly relax.

Bangkok|I am willing to queue for 30 minutes! This charcoal toast in Chinatown is so popular that even the locals are rushing to eat it🔥🍞
This charcoal-grilled toast stall is hidden in a small alley in Chinatown. It has no signboard and no fancy decoration. It is just a very simple stall that uses a small charcoal grill to grill the toast directly on the spot.
I was really scared by the crowds! I queued up for two rounds but still didn't see the stall. I just wanted to try my luck, but the longer I queued, the more excited I became.
The oven is right in the middle of the stall. The boss is very skillful in grilling slices of toast on the charcoal oven, and the aroma immediately fills the air. The whole scene is full of warm folk charm. It has no decoration but is super delicious. This kind of street food is the most touching.

This newly opened milk tea shop in Bangkok is my No.1 Thai milk tea shop!
Khiri Thai Tea is very close to Bangkok's Chinatown. If you plan to go shopping and eat delicious food in Chinatown, I highly recommend stopping by for a drink!
Many people say that this is the "ceiling of Thai milk". Not only are the drinks special, but the environment of the store is also very attractive. The whole store is full of Thai style, colorful and design-conscious. You will be healed as soon as you walk in. Watching the clerk making drinks on the spot is also super healing.
The drink has a strong milky flavor but is not overly sweet, and is priced in the mid-to-high range, but it’s really worth a try. If you come to Bangkok for a trip and want to try some different Thai milk, this shop must be put on your wishlist!

Bangkok|I came across the Vanich House college student handmade market. The atmosphere was so good that I didn’t want to leave💕
We completely stumbled upon a small event at Vanich House. A lot of Thai college students gathered there to set up stalls and sell their handmade accessories, T-shirts, hand-painted canvas bags, and even interactive games. The atmosphere was super chill! The music and laughter never stop, making it the most relaxing afternoon activity on the weekend.
The overall scale of the market is not large, but because the space design and architectural atmosphere are so charming, walking in is really like entering a small universe full of creative souls. Without any special arrangements, you may also gain the warmest travel memories. This is the most charming place in Bangkok💛

Bangkok|Recommended by friends! This supermarket on the basement floor is so good, you can buy all the Thai souvenirs at once🎁🛍️
This time I traveled to Bangkok, because I wanted to pick out some sincere and worthwhile souvenirs for my family, my friend specially recommended me to go to the Tops supermarket on the basement floor of Central Bangkok. Sure enough, I fell in love with it as soon as I went there!
There is a whole section dedicated to Thai souvenirs that tourists love the most, such as royal honey, Big Sheet seaweed, Thai scented soap, dried fruits, curry sauce packets, etc. The display is neat and the items are rich. It is super time-saving to shop in one stop, and it is suitable for both gifts and personal use.
What touched me the most was that there were Chinese signs and Chinese service staff on site. Even if you don’t know Thai, don’t worry. Shopping is stress-free. They will even take the initiative to help pack. They are really friendly to independent travelers!
Recommended reasons:
① The supermarket has a tourist area where popular souvenirs are sold together, which is convenient and time-saving

Bangkok|Fall in love with this airport VIP lounge! The seats are super spacious, free charging, and the sofa is full of space. The CP value is so high that I don’t want to board the plane ✈️
As soon as you step into Carol Lounge, you will be immediately attracted by the spacious and comfortable space design. The seats in the VIP lounge are spaciously distributed, and there is no sense of oppression at all. Whether you want to take a quiet nap alone or chat and relax with your travel companions, you can find a suitable seat. What surprised me most was that there were several independent sofa seats here. Not only were they very soft and comfortable to sit on, but there was also a small coffee table, making it very convenient for dining, working or browsing the phone.
The environment and atmosphere are very well created, the lighting is soft and not glaring, the air circulation is good, and the overall environment is very fresh and clean. Whether it is the floor, the table or the public area, it is spotlessly clean.
Free Wi-Fi and charging sockets are available everywhere, greatly improving practicality. To be honest, this Carol Lounge is definitely the best one I have ever experienced. Whether it is the hardware facilities or the overall atmosphere, it is worth recommending.
