Jingxinzhai, with its pavilions, towers, corridors, and rockeries, is a place in Beihai Park worth savoring slowly! 👍👍👍 Originally named Jingqingzhai, Jingxinzhai is located on the northern shore of Beihai Park, adjacent to Tianwang Hall to the west. Built in the 22nd year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1757), it covers an area of 4,700 square meters and served as the study of the crown prince. The main feature of the site is its rock formations, complemented by various structures such as pavilions, towers, small bridges, flowing water, rock caves, and a serene atmosphere. Its ingenious layout showcases the essence of northern Chinese courtyard garden art, making it a unique "garden within a garden" with distinctive architecture and style.
