Bristol feels like a place that carries its creativity right on the surface. You don’t have to look hard, it’s in the paint on the walls, the music drifting out of open doorways, the conversations overheard in cafés ☕️ It’s scruffy in the most charming way. 🌉 Clifton Suspension Bridge was the first real “pause” moment. It doesn’t matter how many photos you’ve seen, walking across it, high above the Avon Gorge, the quiet is deeper than expected. You feel small, but not in a bad way. Just… present. 🎨 Stokes Croft was buzzing. Murals blooming across brick, little independent shops with crooked shelves and handwritten signs. Found a record store with a cat asleep in the window. The man behind the counter told us about a gig that night, we didn’t go, but it was nice being told anyway. 🛶 Down by the harbourside, things moved slower. People lying on the grass. Boats bobbing gently. We had cider 🍺 cold, sharp, perfect 👌 and sat watching a guy paint on a tiny canvas. Didn’t say much.
