Chengdu Life: Stayed at the Cinematic Buda Hotel

🟡️My last trip to Chengdu was all about relaxation, and I finally got to meet friends I hadn't seen in years. Traveling solo meant I didn’t need to overthink accommodations, so I skipped traditional star-rated hotels and opted for the design-forward Buda Hotel—my first time staying there. 🟡️I heard the hotel was designed by ARCHETYPE Design Group and even won the American Architecture Master Prize in the hospitality category. True to its reputation, the overall style is modern and minimalist, with warm coffee tones indoors, creating a cozy yet upscale vibe. 🟡️After a few days, I found it quite cost-effective. Located at the border of Chengdu’s High-Tech Zone and Tianfu New Area, it’s right next to Metro Lines 1 and 5, making transportation a breeze. CPI is just a 30-minute drive away—pretty close, especially compared to Beijing, where an hour’s commute is the norm. Super convenient!
