MARINA BEACH

Marina Beach is one of the beach attractions in the city of Semarang, Central Java. This beach keeps the exotic scenery typical of the city of Semarang. In the past, this place was a mangrove forest and pond, but the local government turned it into a recreation area by land reclamation. #triplocal #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Taj Club House

"Vanakkam Chennai!" My wife and I love traveling and have had the privilege of staying at some fantastic hotels. Yet, our recent visit to the Taj Club House on Mount Road in Chennai from June 18th to 21st, 2025 was extraordinary. More than just a lavish hotel, it felt like a welcoming home. Right from the moment we entered, we were enveloped in a feeling of luxury and sincere warmth that made our stay memorable. After a hot afternoon journey to Chennai, the cool and tranquil lobby offered immediate relief. The check-in process was wonderfully quick and seamless, showcasing the efficient professionalism spearheaded by Mr. Ramendra Singh, Front Office Manager, and his team. Our check-out was equally smooth, ensuring a hassle-free departure. The genuine South Indian welcome set the tone beautifully. Greeted with traditional garlands, we felt like esteemed guests, almost family—more like entering a beloved home than a hotel. Starting our mornings at The Club House restaurant was truly delightful. This 24/7 dining haven offered an authentic dive into Tamilian culture. What elevated the experience was Chef Guru Babu K. and his team's remarkable dedication. Infectiously friendly, Chef Guru, embodying his namesake ('master'), showcased masterful culinary skills. Breakfasts were a daily treat, with an array of traditional South Indian dishes made with remarkably fresh ingredients. Highlights included podi masala on soft idlis, superb korma with idiyappam, and perfectly prepared Masala Dosa and Ghee Roast Dosas at the live counter. We relished delicious Pongal, crispy vadas, and flavorful Onion Uthappam.Chef Guru’s attentiveness and sincere care were evident when he promptly made paniyaram for my wife and offered me a special sweet lime fruit juice daily for a vitamin C boost due to my cold. He even shared invaluable tips to my wife for crafting soft, porous idlis, as well as preparing special eggless pastries to match our pure vegetarian dietary requirements. Thank you, Guru sir, for such friendly hospitality. Enhancing this sensory delight was the sweet melody of a flute player, performing traditional classical Indian music, creating a serene ambiance. The hotel's exceptional hospitality was highlighted during a surprising moment. Following check-in, I unfortunately fell ill the next day due to a persistent cold and an exhausting week of travel. The room service team’s response was miraculous. At 5 AM, they swiftly arranged paracetamol and went beyond, gathering turmeric powder and ginger paste for my Ayurvedic remedies. Their concern resonated with a family-like care that deeply touched us.Our Deluxe room was a sanctuary of luxury and comfort, with plush beds assuring restful nights. Forest Essential aromatherapy products in the bath transformed routine bathing into indulgent Ayurvedic experiences. Each morning in the lobby, a beautiful, traditional Tamilian-style flower rangoli enhanced the authentic Indian hospitality. The Taj Club House's location is ideal. Situated on Mount Road, you're in the heart of Chennai, near iconic landmarks like the Government Museum and Kapaleeswarar Temple, shopping centers like T Nagar and Spencer Plaza Mall, and the splendid Marina Beach—one of the longest beaches globally, perfect for discovering Chennai's vibrant attractions.Upon departure, a lovely gesture marked our end—a small, elegant elephant couple token given as a memento. Deeply touched by this thoughtful gift, my wife placed the elegant pair on display near our home's entrance, where they welcome everyone inside—a lasting reminder of our exceptional stay at the Taj Club House. When we thanked Chef Guru and Mr. Ramendra Singh at check-out, their simple yet profound words resonated: "We are family." In the realm of luxury hotels offering endless comforts, it’s rare to find one providing such authentic, personal care. The Taj Club House Chennai transcends mere lavishness, making you feel genuinely valued, as though you've found another home. Only Taj could evoke this warmth in me and my family. In essence, the Taj Club House, Chennai goes beyond luxury, delivering an immersive cultural experience through outstanding, caring service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a superior and deeply personal hotel experience in Chennai. It’s truly a home away from home.
