The Luo Clan Grand House in Haoli Village, Chenzhou, Hunan

The Luo Clan Grand House was built during the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of approximately 1,500 square meters. The square-shaped structure features three bays, three halls, two side wings, six courtyards, and two floors, with a gable roof and horse-head walls. The central three halls serve as ancestral halls, flanked by living quarters, totaling dozens of rooms. The front of the house has three wooden-framed stone-pillowed doorways with stone thresholds, adorned with wooden carvings. The main hall boasts a square-shaped coffered ceiling with intricate floral wood carvings. The screens, doors, windows, and decorative panels showcase exquisite craftsmanship, reflecting the owner's wealth at the time. Currently, the house is severely damaged. It is listed as an immovable cultural relic in Beihu District.
