Hotel Springs Makuhari Premier Deluxe Twin Room

Check-in is scheduled for 8 PM. This hotel is a premier establishment where all rooms are club rooms. I had previously stayed at the adjacent Hotel Springs Makuhari, and last fall, the Premier section was newly opened. With club rooms priced at around 15,000 yen for two people and located just 30 minutes from Tokyo Station and a 3-minute walk from the train station, there was no reason to pass up this brand-new hotel. However, since I had already planned my itinerary in Yamagata Prefecture, I had to forgo the afternoon tea time and aperitif time at the club lounge. Instead, upon check-in, I was upgraded from the reserved Superior Twin to a higher-grade Deluxe Twin, allowing me to enjoy a more spacious and comfortable corner room for one night. Check-in was conducted in a private lounge, and I started enjoying happy hour even before heading to my room. The evening cocktail time offers light snacks rather than full meals. The lineup includes wine, whiskey, bottled beer, and the option to make your own highballs. I spent about an hour sampling various drinks until 9 PM. I’ve stayed at about seven hotels around Kaihin-Makuhari Station. The area is packed with commercial facilities such as outlets, Costco, Aeon Mall, Makuhari Messe, and Chiba Marine Stadium. It’s also conveniently located for traveling to Tokyo, making it an excellent choice. After happy hour, I enjoyed a second round at nearby commercial facilities before returning to my room. The bathroom, sink, and toilet are separated, which is convenient. The L-shaped full-length windows give the corner room a spacious feel, but the structure allows views into adjacent rooms. On the left side of the room I stayed in, there was a suite with a bathtub facing the window, and on the right side, a room of the same type as mine. It’s important to close the curtains for privacy. The individual air conditioning system makes temperature control easy. Breakfast is served in the same location as happy hour. There’s a live cooking station where you can order dishes like Eggs Benedict, sunny-side-up eggs, and fusion sushi. Although it’s a complimentary club lounge breakfast, the taste and variety are quite satisfying. The hotel’s proximity to the station is another plus. Thank you.
