#Domestic travel #Dodamsambong Dodamsambong, located in Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, is the first of the eight scenic views of Danyang. It is a three-peaked peak located in the upper reaches of the Namhangang River. The highest peak in the middle is called Janggunbong, the northern peak is called Cheobong, and the southern peak is called Cheopbong. The beautiful and unique scenery of the peaks that are exposed above the water makes it a popular tourist destination. There is a pavilion called 'Samdojeong' on Janggunbong. In 1766, Jo Jeong-se, the governor of Danyang-gun, built a pavilion called 'Neungyeongjeong', but it was torn down because it was causing a nuisance. Later, in 1807, Kim Do-seong built a square-shaped pavilion, but this too was washed away by the great flood in 1972. It is said that the current Samdojeong was rebuilt in 1976 by Kim Sang-su and donated to Danyang-gun.
