Enjoy the cherry blossoms at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in early spring!

I went to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine for the first time! After passing through the large torii gate, there was a Japanese-style garden. Even though it was early March, I was able to see the cherry blossoms. The fountain was coming out and it was beautiful from any angle! You can purify yourself by simply placing your hands where the water is coming out, so it's safe even during the COVID-19 pandemic. The main shrine was under construction at the time (March 2023), but after passing through the large gate, receiving a goshuin stamp, and going further in, you will find a garden with cherry blossoms. There is also a Umegae Mochi shop nearby, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing while eating! Don't forget to stroke the cows in the shrine grounds!
