7-day Dolomites self-driving route recommended

Day 1｜Tre Cime di Lavaredo · Entering Wonderland Must-do: Drei Zinnen hut hike Starting from Auronzo, the hike takes about 1.5 hours. You can see three super spectacular peaks, with a 360° panoramic view without blind spots, just like walking into the world of The Lord of the Rings! Depart before 8 am when there are fewer people and it is cooler. Day 2｜Lago di Braies & Lago di Sorapis 🌅 Go to Lake Braies to watch the sunrise in the early morning. The lake surface is as quiet and beautiful as a mirror. 🚣 Between 10am and 5am, you can rent a boat to paddle the lake, it feels like you’re walking through a postcard! 🌟 In the afternoon, we went to Lake Sorapis. The color of the lake was so exaggerated, turquoise blue💎, so dreamy that it seemed unreal. Day 3｜Passo di Giau · Alpine Road Rhapsody 🚗 A dreamy road with magnificent mountain views at the turn! When you reach the mountain pass, you can see many famous Dolomites peaks such as Nuvolau and Marmolada, and you can take great photos in a second! Taking photos against the light in the evening is so beautiful! Day4｜Carezza Lake Lago di Carezza + Sella pass + Gardena pass 🌿 Lake Careza is a fairy tale! The emerald green lake reflects the forest and snow-capped mountains, like a photoshopped scene. ⏰ It is recommended to arrive early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy your own tranquility. The scenery along the Sella & Gardena Pass is also amazing. When driving, you can't help but stop along the way to take pictures! Day 5｜Alpe di Siusi · The most beautiful grassland in the Alps 🏞️ The world's largest alpine meadow, looks like a cartoon scene. Distant mountains, wooden houses, green slopes, and the sky is so close that it seems you can touch it. It is recommended to rent a bicycle or walk for a day. The feeling of happiness when lying on the grass and daydreaming is really hard to describe in words. Day 6｜Seceda · Stunning and beautiful ridges 🗻 Seseda is definitely a "must visit in this lifetime" place! The jagged ridges look like a giant dragon hovering in the clouds. It gives me goose bumps the moment I see it with my own eyes. It is very convenient to take the cable car up the mountain. It is recommended to go early when the weather is stable for best photography. Day7｜Val di Funes · Idyllic town 🏡 Funes Valley is the gentlest side of the Dolomites. The iconic St. John's Church stands isolated on a green meadow with spectacular mountains behind it.
