#celebratewithtrip The city's skala and ramparts are one of the things you definitely need to explore when you visit Essaouira, built as a city defence on the ocean in the eighteenth century. There are two levels to this fortification you can check out. The ground level that was used as a military storage area, now filled with little shops selling handicrafts, souvenirs. The top levels have bronze cannons and great views out to the sea, harbour. Walking along this area, you will be transported to the scene Games of Thrones that was shot on this spot. Only sounds of the waves crashing against the fortress and the sound of the seagulls permeated through the air. It was absolutely magical.
