Changbai Mountain West Slope Drifting is a great photo op!

🌊 Drifting experience: When I arrived at the changing room, I was confused when I saw the waterproof waders... Me: Can I take photos in such thick pants? Staff: You'll know if you don't wear them. Me: ??? It shouldn't be that bad, right? 😱 You should listen to the advice! After the first turn... the first wave of water splashed onto the boat. Really! You can see it with the naked eye! Ice! I looked down and saw the whole side of the boat was covered with ice. (I'm glad I didn't wear that expensive mink coat, it would have been ruined, and the fur would have stuck to the boat, which would have been a disaster.) ✨ Amazing scenery: It was really cold, maybe because we southerners have never experienced such temperatures, but it was worth it!!! The trees on both sides of the river were covered with crystal-clear rime. As the boat passed by, the sunlight shone through the branches, and the whole river sparkled (no kidding, I felt like a fairy on tour, haha). It was so beautiful that I forgot about the cold! 🔥 Go to the hot spring immediately: After getting off the boat, I went straight to the hotel to soak in the hot spring. It was amazing to soak in the hot spring at minus 20 degrees. My hair was frosted, but I was soaking in the hot pool, watching the snow fall outside. It was so refreshing! 💡Tips: - Try not to wear expensive clothes! (If you have money to burn, ignore this) - Be sure to wear waterproof clothes, or you'll be cold (you can also buy a transparent raincoat online for 15 yuan in advance) - I recommend booking a hot spring hotel so you can soak when you get back (experience the contrast between hot and cold) - Knee pads are important! Without knee pads, you may get arthritis early. The small group I met at Changbai Mountain was really professional. The leader started reminding us of the precautions for drifting as soon as we got on the bus, and even gave us a bunch of warm packs and knee pads. Seeing us southerners being silly, they even helped us adjust the time for the hot spring, which was so thoughtful! I recorded these things intermittently... I just want to tell those who are going: Changbai Mountain's rime drifting is definitely worth a try! It's a winter wonderland, but remember to wear waterproof and warm clothes, or you'll regret it, haha 😂
