Recommended cities and accommodations for transit at Athens International Airport 🇬🇷

I arrived at Athens International Airport around 10pm and had a 7pm flight the next day, so I decided to stay in a town called Artemida, about a 16 minute drive from the airport (I used UVER because it was late at night). The place I stayed at was Artemis Garden Near Airport🏠. My host family was a very kind couple, and when I told them I would be late for check-in, they exchanged kind emails with me, which made me feel very at ease☺️. I also had some trouble and arrived around 1am, but they were awake and waiting for me, and welcomed me warmly🥰. I'm glad I chose this place! The next day, I had some time, so I headed to the seaside! I didn't have high expectations since it was close to the airport, but the sea was so beautiful that I ended up swimming before my flight🤣✨. When you find a nice place that you've decided on randomly during your transit, you can't help but want to give a fist pump! Lol. There are several restaurants lined up along the seaside, and there's plenty to eat! Island Basket 🍝🦞 The restaurant here also has a charming owner, they have Wi-Fi, and we enjoyed a delicious meal while looking at the ocean✨ We had a wonderful time in Artemida, recommended for long transits at Athens International Airport🥰 #EuropeExploration #Greece #Artemida
