Swamp Strolls & Nature Feels

#summervacay So I ended up at Jeongyang Swamp in Hapcheon and honestly, it was way cooler than I expected. It’s not like a spooky swamp or anything, more like this peaceful, wide-open wetland surrounded by low mountains and just pure quiet. There’s a wooden boardwalk trail that loops through the area, so you can walk right over the water and check out all the plants, birds, and dragonflies doing their thing. Super relaxing, and kinda gives off that “hidden nature sanctuary” vibe. I went in the morning and it was basically just me and nature, no crowds, just wind, water, and the occasional frog sound. You don’t need a ton of time here, but it’s perfect for a chill break if you’re road-tripping or just need to reset. Bring a hat, maybe some snacks, and just walk slow. It’s not a big tourist spot, but that’s exactly what makes it feel special. Total nature escape.
