The town built on the Hecho River Valley has its own unique natural landscape

Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Huesca (Region) Hecho is a town known for its wonderful folk architecture and its striking open-air exhibitions of contemporary sculpture, but above all, its beautiful natural surroundings take most of the credit. The valleys of the western Aragonese Pyrenees are influenced by the moisture of the Atlantic Ocean, creating magnificent and lush vegetation that is home to a wide variety of animal life. The El Chau Valley follows the course of the Aragon-Subordán River, which narrows at the "Boca del Infierno" (Mouth of Hell), a pass carved by the river in the rock.
