An elegant French restaurant hidden in Tai Kwun

Visited Tai Kwun on the weekend to watch a show, and after the show, we looked for a place to eat inside Tai Kwun. This French restaurant is located near the entrance, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The brick walls and wooden doors and windows have a very high-quality feel. The set dinner for dinner service is $368 per person, which includes 4 kinds of appetizers, plus a choice of 1 main course and dessert, making it very generous. Pumpkin, beetroot, and Greek cheese salad The appetizer salad contains quinoa, pomegranate seeds, onions, asparagus, pumpkin, and goat cheese, providing a rich texture and a slightly sour taste that is very appetizing. Grilled chicken skewer, bite-sized roasted cauliflower, and tomato sauce risotto ball Another platter has 3 appetizers: the chicken skewer is grilled just right and not dry at all, the cauliflower is roasted with spices and tastes very fragrant, and the most special is the fried risotto ball, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Grilled sea bass with creamy mushroom spinach The sea bass is thick, with a slightly crispy skin, tender and smooth flesh, and a fresh, sweet flavor. The mashed potatoes and spinach underneath are also very tasty. Pan-seared flank steak with black pepper beef sauce The steak was ordered medium rare, perfectly seared to lock in the juices, with a slightly pink center, cooked just right. The steak is tender and flavorful. We ordered one of each of the two desserts to happily share: French crepes with ice cream and French chocolate mousse. The crepes paired with vanilla ice cream are sweet and soft, and the mousse has a rich chocolate flavor but is not too sweet. . .
