Hong Kong Kowloon Shangri-La｜Recommended Sea View!

🚗 Location & Transportation: Situated in one of the most tranquil yet bustling areas of Victoria Harbor, the hotel offers unparalleled convenience. From the second floor, you can cross the footbridge directly to Victoria Harbor. It's just a 5-minute walk to K11 and 10 minutes to Harbor City! The MTR station is only a minute away, and one stop takes you to West Kowloon. The accessibility is simply unbeatable! 🛏️ Room Facilities: Some online reviews complain about outdated facilities at Kowloon Shangri-La, but my personal experience was completely different! Everything is impeccably maintained, the room is spotless without a hint of odor, and even the windows are crystal clear! Issues like musty smells or noisy air conditioning mentioned by some reviewers were nowhere to be found here. 🌇 Room View: I stayed in a sea-view room on the 16th floor, and the view was breathtaking! At night, I couldn’t bear to close the curtains—I just wanted to keep gazing at the stunning Victoria Harbor nightscape. During an evening stroll back to the hotel, I noticed that many sea-facing rooms had their windows open and warm lights on. At least 30% of the windows had guests sitting by them, mesmerized by the dazzling view. 🔑 Service: Shangri-La’s service deserves all the praise! 1. Special thanks to a lobby manager who always offered toys to my baby whenever he saw us in the lobby—so professional and thoughtful. 2. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive! They not only handled our requests with care and provided thoughtful suggestions but also gave us complimentary lounge drink vouchers when they worried we had waited too long for our room. 3. At the concierge, even though we didn’t have much luggage, the staff insisted on delivering it to our room. 4. During breakfast, I ordered Eggs Benedict, and a gentleman who seemed to be the head chef personally brought it over and kindly asked if the taste was satisfactory. Before coming to Hong Kong, I had read online comments about "unfriendliness towards mainland tourists," and I was worried that traveling with a child might be inconvenient. However, my concerns were completely unfounded! On two occasions while taking the MTR, people voluntarily offered their seats. Whether at the hotel, local diners, or shopping malls, staff and even strangers would smile and play with my baby. The most touching moments included a hotel staff member singing a nursery rhyme to my baby and a passerby clapping to encourage my baby after he climbed a set of stairs on his own. I’ll definitely bring my child to Hong Kong more often in the future, and Kowloon Shangri-La will undoubtedly be my top choice for accommodation!
