🧩Visiting culturally rich and "quiet" temples in Hong Kong✨

📌I had heard of Wong Tai Sin's fame before I came to Hong Kong. Even though the typhoon was coming, I had to take advantage of the rare short good weather to go and explore~ 📌There are many shops selling incense for worship when you approach the temple. They are usually more exquisite but relatively expensive. If you don't want to spend too much money, you can also go to the incense burning area inside the temple. Just remember to pay some incense money💰! Each person takes nine incense sticks to worship. 📌There are also crowds of people on weekdays! Before entering from the gate, there are groups of tourists taking turns to take commemorative photos in the square📸, which shows that this is indeed a must-visit place! After entering the gate, it is uphill, but don't worry, Hong Kong is super friendly here, there are escalators and stairs🪜, you can choose to go upstairs easily or exercise🏃, because in Hong Kong, an average of 30,000 steps are accumulated every day, so I took the escalator to go upstairs quickly😄😄😄. 📌There is a "Wong Tai Sin Faith and Culture Museum" between the two escalators (⚠️No photography allowed inside the museum), which has some Wong Tai Sin related cultural relics on display and introduction. If you have enough time, you can also visit it. (The air conditioning inside is very strong, you can stay longer 😄) 📌There are twelve zodiac bronze statues in the square in front of the temple. You can line up to take photos with your own zodiac, but I went there alone and didn't have much time to stay, so I hurriedly took a few photos of the statues whose zodiacs I couldn't guess and went to the main hall. 📌In front of the main hall, believers held incense and prayed sincerely. There was an area in the back where believers knelt to ask questions, ask for divination, and record. The divination tube can be borrowed and returned for free at the service desk. The stairs going down on the other side are the place for interpretation, which requires additional payment. There are many teacher counters for interpretation to choose from. 📌Things worth noting: There is a device similar to a smoke exhauster above the incense burner, which I think is great. The temple is very popular and there are many burning incense sticks on the scene, but the air is not choking or eyes are smoked. The air is still fresh.
