As a pseudo hotel enthusiast, the accommodation experience is the most important part of every trip! This time, I unexpectedly booked the St. Regis Hong Kong. Even using membership points felt like a splurge, but after checking in, I truly praised it as "worth every penny"! The moment I stepped into the room, I was immediately captivated by Andre Fu’s design aesthetics—the texture of the stone was full of quality, the spatial layout was elegant and appropriate, completely free of the exaggerated feel of influencer hotels! Every detail exuded "understated luxury": the lines of the custom furniture, the patterns of the handwoven carpet, even the lighting design was thoughtfully hidden—truly a masterpiece by a master! The breakfast was exquisitely delightful 🥢 Highly recommend the Chinese set menu, with freshly made shrimp dumplings and siu mai, paired with bear-shaped dim sum so cute you don’t want to eat them. However, receiving three bears at once made it less special; next time, I really want to try the hidden version! As a design industry insider, I sincerely admire the owner’s taste! Compared to projects in North China, CR’s work in Hong Kong is simply on another level—there are no deliberately eye-catching influencer elements here, but rather a perfect interpretation of true luxury through delicate craftsmanship and timeless design. Although the price is not cheap, this immersive experience is definitely worth adding to the "must-stay list in life"!
