Visit Nanlian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery

Nan Lian Garden (สวนน่านเลียง), a garden located on Diamond Hill in Kowloon, Hong Kong, spans 23 rai (1,000 acres). The garden's design harks back to the Tang Dynasty. The garden features a mix of Chinese and Japanese styles, including bonsai trees, rockeries, a koi pond, a wooden building in the middle of a pond, a teahouse, and a souvenir shop. Chi Lin Nunnery, also known as Chi Lin Nunnery, is a Mahayana nunnery built in 1934. Its distinctive features include its wooden buildings, and the main building, constructed in the traditional style, sanctuary without a single nail. The courtyard features a lotus pond, decorated with gold, wood, and terracotta. Getting there: Take the MTR to Diamond Hill Station, Exit C2. You'll find Plaza Hollywood shopping mall.
