Private hot pot is delicious

With the autumn breeze creeping in, it's time for hotpot again. Today, I went to a private hotpot restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui with friends. It was packed that evening, but luckily we had a reservation. Location: From Tsim Sha Tsui Exit B2, head straight for Carnarvon Road. Turn right into a small alley, and continue straight until you reach H8. Environment: Primarily in a classical Chinese style, with red wooden doors, green embroidered wooden chairs, and yellow lace bowls and chopsticks. Large iron lamps hang from the ceiling, but the atmosphere is a bit dim at night. The overall atmosphere is antique, and with a full house, it's filled with a lively atmosphere. Service: 10% service charge applies. Dinner: Chili, Cucumber, and Black Fungus (appetizer) $20 The cucumber is marinated and seasoned with Sichuan chili sauce, making it incredibly flavorful and appetizing. I'm tempted to order more. 🥢Pepper Pork Tripe, Fish Maw and Chicken Hot Pot🥘 $268 The broth is made with real ingredients😍, featuring salty pickled cabbage and refreshing pork tripe. It has a strong peppery flavor. I was a little worried about a bit of pork smell, but it wasn't at all😙. The pig tripe was rinsed thoroughly, so the broth was completely odorless and delicious🥰. It came with a plate of fish maw and chicken. The chicken was very tender😋, without any hint of frozen flavor. The fish maw was also thick and smooth, and the ingredients were high quality👍🏻! 🥢Teochew Satay Pot🥘 $98 This one has a stronger flavor, with a bit of pig skin in the broth, which absorbed the broth perfectly and was very refreshing! 🥢Hu Lu Beef🥩 Platter $398 It includes beef tongue, Angus cut fat, premium cut sirloin, brisket, and marinated beef cubes. The brisket cubes were my first time trying, and the texture was unique🤭, a bit like fish maw, but with a richer texture. The beef cubes and sirloin were more flavorful. I was completely filled after finishing this plate of beef. 🥢Dumpling Platter $128 Shrimp wontons, black truffle dumplings, fish skin dumplings, and wontons. All the dumplings were delicious, especially the wontons. The shrimp filling was generous😍 and full of flavor👍🏻. 🥢Meatball Platter $128 Black truffle cuttlefish balls, cuttlefish balls, shrimp balls, and beef balls. I highly recommend the cuttlefish balls and black truffle cuttlefish balls. They're incredibly chewy and have a fantastic texture, and they're so flavorful that they don't even need any sauce. 🥢Vegetable Platter (Small) $63 🥬Chinese lettuce, 🥬split lettuce, baby cabbage, and more, fresh and delicious. 🥢Japanese Tomato Salad $58 Slices of tomatoes dipped in Japanese soy sauce cut through the greasiness of hot pot. 🧂Sauce $28 (per person) Make your own sauce. 🙌🏻The average cost per person that night was $400, which isn't exactly cheap for Tsim Sha Tsui 😌, but every ingredient was high quality 😚, and the meal was thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying 🥰.
