Hong Kong is overflowing with hot pot restaurants, but I recently realized I'd never been to the ever-popular Cou Cou. So, we made a reservation at this branch in Tsuen Wan and were seated promptly, which was incredibly thoughtful! 🤩 ✏️Location: 9/10 ✏️Ambience: 9/10 ✏️Hygiene: 9/10 ✏️Service: 9/10 ✏️Food: 9/10 The restaurant is located in Nina Tower 2, near the Aeon Mall exit, so I often pass by. The dark, atmospheric atmosphere and spacious seating are comfortable. The wait staff were quite proactive and friendly, and the food arrived quickly after I placed my order via QR code. The food is clearly higher quality than your average hot pot restaurant, no wonder there's always a long line! 😁 🌟 White Clam Seafood Hot Pot (Single Pot) $258 The most delicious broth I've had in recent years, featuring sea cucumber, white clams, oysters, chicken, wolfberries, and more. It's much whiter and sweeter than your average hot pot broth. Even I, who don't usually drink hot pot soup, couldn't resist two bowls. Since it's a seasonal special, I really need to try it soon! 😍 🌟 American Premium Beef Combo $258 This American premium beef short rib and sirloin steak combination is stunning when it arrives. The short ribs are tender and smooth, while the sirloin steak has a stronger beef flavor. It's a great way to get two types of beef at once! 😃 🌟 Crispy Tilapia Slices $68 The tilapia from Africa is crispy and firm, and fresh enough that the meat doesn't fall apart. 😉 🌟 Pen-Tube Squid $78 It's softer, smoother, and more flavorful than I expected.
