Waikiki is located near Honolulu and can easily be accessed from the international airport in about 20 minutes (by car). The town is very picturesque with lots of green space, restaurants, bars and shopping malls. The beach town is filled with lots of hotels and hostels for all budgets with the most friendliest of people. It’s very easy to walk around Waikiki and they also have a bus system. You can get a bus to take you to different parts of the city. The beach has a great vibe to it and the local restaurants sell a lot of fresh fish. Popular activities to do whilst here include surfing, going on a boat cruise or snorkelling. There is also a lot of karaoke bars as well as hotels and hostels to suit the needs of all travellers. Overall, Waikiki is a must visit destination if you like the sun, surfing, exploring the beach and natural beauty.
