To have this fantastic experience, you should keep the following in mind. => 1️⃣ The course to the peak of Hallasan starts from Seongpanak and Gwaneumsa. 2️⃣ Beginners should go up to Seongpanak if possible. Gwaneumsa is steep. 3️⃣ Reservations are required for climbing Hallasan. Be sure to make reservations in advance on the official website. 4️⃣ Crampons are a must for winter hiking!! You won't be allowed to enter without them. 5️⃣ Wear several layers of light clothing rather than thick ones. You'll sweat more than you think. 6️⃣ There's a lot more snow than you think. Never leave the trail. 7️⃣ The parking lot at the trail entrance is not spacious.
