Croatian Island

#croatianislands Korčula Island (Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [kɔ̂ːrtʃula] ⓘ is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. It has an area of 279 km2 (108 sq mi); a length of 468 km (291 mi) and an average width of 78 km (48 mi)[1] — and lies off the coast of Dalmatia. Its population of 15,522 (2011) makes it the second most populous Adriatic island after Krk[2] and the most populous Croatian island not connected to the mainland by a bridge. The population is almost entirely ethnic Croatian (95.74%).
