Five-story pagoda at Toji Temple

#Kyoto #Toji Toji Temple is a World Heritage Site that can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot from Kyoto Station. The five-story pagoda of Toji Temple is world famous and many people visit it during the day. (There were no people there when I took this photo because it was after 6am.) In addition, Toji Temple has many precious Buddhist statues on display, and you can see Buddhist statues that are also mentioned in Japanese history textbooks. (No photography allowed) The five-story pagoda of Toji Temple can be seen from the Shinkansen, and seeing it makes you feel like you've really come to Kyoto, so I always visit it when I come to Kyoto.
