Kyoto: the city of food, alcohol and culture

This trip to Kyoto was planned as a recreational trip for my grandmother. From New Chitose Airport to Kansai International Airport. After a minor incident where my AirPods were dropped at New Chitose Airport and embezzled by the culprit, I arrived in Kyoto. I met up with my grandmother. After leaving my luggage at the hotel, I went to the Kawai Kanjiro Memorial Museum. Here you can see the studio and home of Kawai Kanjiro, who is known as a ceramic artist. The mascot cat welcomes you. It's soothing. The structure of the building is very unique, and you can really feel his good taste. It's so cool~ I was hungry, so I went to "Suba". Here you can get soba noodles with various toppings. This is the location of the photo taken by Akio Hasegawa for Popeye's Kyoto special feature. The two huge rock tables are indescribably cool. Rugged and rustic. I liked the taste of the Micro Namekosoba (cold). After finishing it quickly, we went to "Tachi-no-torizuki". This restaurant is famous for its fresh chicken and side dishes. It's called a standing bar, but there are tables on the second floor. (Reservations required for 3 or more people) First of all, I was surprised at how cheap the drinks were. Black label for 500 yen?!?! I wasn't expecting much, but a perfectly chilled glass of beer with zero bad foam came out. Amazing. It's rare to find beer of this quality, even in Sapporo... And all the side dishes were delicious. I was blown away. I couldn't get enough sake. The chicken hearts were amazing. The way they were cooked, slightly rare, was also perfect. On top of that, I had it with sauce and Japanese pepper. Wow. This place was so delicious that I drank alone on the second day. Thank you for the meal. I'm getting bored so I'll stop here.
