We started our journey at dawn, breathing in the crisp mountain air as we made our way to the Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail in Doi Inthanon National Park, Chiang Mai. Known as one of the most scenic trails in Thailand, this route offers a perfect blend of adventure and serenity. A local guide is required for the hike, and ours was incredibly knowledgeable — pointing out unique flora and explaining the importance of the forest’s ecosystem as we trekked. The trail winds through lush, moss-covered woods and eventually opens up to stunning panoramic views above the clouds. Walking along the ridge with views of rolling hills and the rising sun was truly magical.
